A happy family

Not once did Boris regret his actions, so well-planned, you see. In the rooms upstairs, the laughter of his kids fills him with joy. "I love my joyous children!" chuckles he.

Five little darlings. So proud that not one had gone astray. So many neighbor kids had, you know. But not Boris and Yolanda's. Nope, all five were happy people.

The children continued their playful games. So thankful he had allowed them the upper floor. Boris smiled. Yolanda is an expert at creating such great games. They play, but they also learn! This closeness to their children make them the envy of their neighborhood: D. Downs Drive.

The second floor contains a kitchen, two bathrooms, a living room, and two bedrooms. Boris, more often than not, sleeps in one room with Yolanda in the other He absolutely loves her, but a back and neck & head injury from a fall at work makes it all but impossible to sleep with his beautiful Yolanda!

The bottom floor, or the basement as some suggest, is father's "domain", his respite from the world. Now, neither Yolanda nor the kids ever go down there. Boris insists they don't. Besides that, the spiral staircase made the basement "seem" scary! Boris laughs each time someone opens the door to his "territory." He yells, BOOO!!!" and they run away screaming and laughing, as they realize it's their father. A fun game they play..

Today, Boris decided to make dinner for all, as he is known as the foremost chef on Downs Drive! As a matter of fact, Boris invited me to dine with the family tonight! To be honest, being asked by Boris to taste his succulent masterpieces is an honor!

Upon arrival, I see the children and Yolanda at the dinner table, smiling as always. I think to myself, I will model my family after his should I find me a life mate! I grin to myself.

Boris asks me to help him bring up tonight's meal. In his "domain" downstairs, he explains, is where he cooks his special dinners. He LOVES surprising his family! Plus, with five young offspring, Yolanda deserves to rest once-in-awhile, right?

It's such an honor to be invited down s ......

"Hey sweet, wonderful family, I made your favorite!" As Boris maneuvers his way around the table, his eyes lite up with each delivery! "I made each of you your FAVORITE!!!" he announces again.

"Here, Billy, you get the drumstick! Alice, the liver is all yours tonight!!" Each child gets their most favorite dinner served with mashed potatoes, corn and biscuits!!! "The smiles of delight make me so proud of you all!!!!"

"For you, sweetheart, I present our most favorite dinner: half a head each!!!!!"

In his excitement, his knee hits the table. "Oh my! So sorry Alice and Peter. I truly did not do that on purpose. Here, let me help you off the floor." Alice is still smiling, but Peter's face is broken.

So, Boris lifts Alice to her chair, then he moves on to Peter. Picking up his deformed son, father pulls out of his pocket a tube of Super Glue.

"Now, let's see. A little squrit here. Some more there ..... Yes! Now my son is smiling again! We're ALL smiling again!!"

Cora: Decent story. Slightly predictable turn of events but I didn't think at this point it was a possible twist! I enjoy the stream of thought writing style this has, though some proofreading and punctuation could help a few spots. Recommend this for ebooks and forgive a few confusing errors. Enjoyable t...

Angela: A good story so far. I like Amora's character and the ideas such as, Aiden taken power over the pack and stripping Amora of her title. The drama around how Aiden tortured Amora carving his name into her skin was dramatic which I liked. Gave the story some substance. When Aiden captures Amora and beg...
