The occasional rainy days hold a special magic, a connection between people. You can hate the rain, why not? It can ruin your outfit, ruin your plans, ruin your mood. But you can also love it and you should; have you ever even taken a moment to feel the rain? As it runs down your face, as it tingles your spine, as it brings a whole new mood to your day, as it brings some romance...
Luckily, I experience that almost every day. Even on a rainy day, the flowers seem to be in full bloom and the colours are vibrant. The town is pretty much overflowing with beauty and charm. It is a pleasure to take a walk around Yvoire and take in the sights. The rain only adds to the atmosphere. It makes everything seem more magical.
I also love the restaurants and cafes, Chez Louise is personally my favourite. Every weekend, I step into the Chez Louise cafe and eat my brioche while writing my next romance novel. Yes, I am a writer, and you're reading my book. I'm Jolie Monet, and you will hear about my love story.
