Everyone person dreams of that day, the day that they start a new life, a new life with that one person who means the world to them. The day that signifies that two lives will forever be connected. The day that your soul combines with another to make one being. The day when all the love in the world would be less, to describe the feeling of starting a life with that one person who you always dream of. That person will be with you forever and beyond. Today was that day for me, And today was that day for him, but it also is the day that he will remember me for the rest of his life, that he will get what he deserved. Today is the day I ruin him.

Sitting here in front of the mirror Starting at my grey eyes I saw myself in this pretty Lehanga in green and red, I looked like a vision, but with lifeless eyes. I knew what I was going to do is wrong, but it is what I have to do. I always imagined this day, and here I am, but for a different reason.

“Looking gorgeous as always, meri patola .” A voice sounded from behind. I smiled and looked at him. His face grew serious and said,” Are you sure Mayra you want to do this in front of everybody .” I tilted my head to side gave him a sad smile and a nod. Some of my friends came to the door to tell that I had to come downstairs, it was time. I told I’ll be down in a moment. before leaving I turned and found him standing there and asked: ” Tum wahan rahoge na mere sath?” He nodded and said ,” Mai hamesha tumhre sath hun yahan par,” he pointed towards my heart and continued,” Par mai unke sath bhi honga , Tum dono mere liye meri jaan ho .” I gave him one last good look before going down.

There with all my friends waited my mother, they all turned towards the stairs when they heard me came down, I heard a few gasps. I smiled at them . and reached my mother with somewhat unsure steps, she notices this and when I reach down to her she quietly fixes my veil and asks me ” You are sure ?” I gave her a nod and we went outside the where everyone else was waiting for me.

All the while my heart was beating out of control like it would come out any moment right into my hands, my hands were sweaty and steps unsure, I was thinking, having second thoughts, Was this right, Should I do this? All these questions where going on in my mind like a tornado ripping me apart from the inside.

Finally, we reached the main ground and there I saw him standing in green and red colored sherwani looking killer as always and just like that all my insecurities, all the uncertainty, and all the questions disappeared. I had to do this. I steeled myself and went towards the stage. I reached there and stood there waiting for me. I think he knew. He could see it in my eyes. There was a wall between us made of some kind of fabric I think and yet I could clearly see him as he could see me.

Everyone started gushing about us looking like we did. Made For Each other someone said, I don’t know who. The funny thing is once even I thought that we were made for each other, then he broke my heart and left. He did come back four years later, but it had all changed by then. Her had changed and so had her dreams, they slowly started to belong to someone else entirely, someone totally unexpected.

His father came on the stage with the Kazi. It was finally time. It was time to show Manaar Ali Abbasi exactly what Zvya Amayra Siddiqui was capable of. After all, I had promised him I would make his life hell for what he did, and I intend to keep that promise.

" Don’t forget your promise to me either, You promised me to take care of him .” I turned to my right to see Ilhan standing there. I knew he wasn’t really there just a figment of my imagination and thought to myself ” Today is the only day I will not keep that promise, Today is the day he has to pay .” and he replied ” It wasn’t his fault, not everything was his fault, you know that .” I ignored him and he went away after all he was just in my head right.

I promised both of them somethings and I will keep both my promises. I will care for him and I will make him pay for what he did.

Obsidian: He's hilarious. Like, actually. I loved it. You're writing style is great, although you could do with a few less murmurs and mutters. I know it sounds critical, but I have the same problem and I hate it. Overall, it was one of the best stories I've read on here so far. I liked it better than those M...
