Chapter 1 - the beginning
'Why did it end so quickly?
What did we do to deserve such things?
We did nothing wrong, we just...
lived.'
As the storm continues, two little kids hide in their room, both scared of the rain and it's thunder. They couldn't handle such things. They would have loved being `fearless` but they had a lot of things they considered frightening.
- "Mother?" Maya spoke, as the door slips open. Her brother Richard, hiding on the closet as she grabbed a bat, just incase.
- "..." A unknown face appears slowly as the door opens. Something they have never seen before. A big dark figure, with a red hat, and a black suit with a red bow-tie. The girl slowly backs away from the door, scared. Her parents were not home, but a weird creature was.
- "Who are you?" Maya murmured to the strange creature.
- "rgh!" The strange creature blurted out in anger, disappering before the girl could reply. There was a monster in the house. The kids were scared, they didn't want to leave their room ever since, the creature looked weird, very out of the ordinary.
3 hour's later
- "Kids! We're home" A familiar voice yelled from downstairs. The kids filled with happiness and relief, went directly to where to voice came from. They searched around the house but found no one. Only the same strange creature they saw a few hours back.
- "W-who are y-you?" murmured once again Maya, hiding her brother behind her, she was the oldest, but he was the smartest. Just not in these kinds of things. He was a chicken with these kinds of things.
- The creature stood quiet there, then disappeared.
- "Richard, let's head upstairs" Maya trembled. As she turned around, she saw her brother missing, did the creature take him?
- "Now what am i going to do? I dont have any clues on where my brother could be, my parents arent home. And theres a creepy creature roaming around the house. What a great day. " Maya spoke as she sat down in the couch.
- Maya spots something in the distant. A book that has never been there. "Whats that?" She gets up and walks towards the dinning table. " 'Shadow possesion and dark magic' Odd name for a book" Maya says as she tilts her head. She slowly opens the book, to see a shadow appearing from it. Standing right infront of her.
- "Hello summoner" The shadow said
- "H-hello" Maya trembled in fear.
- "Dont be scared, i dont bite! Now if i may ask, why did you summon me?" The shadow, more likely known as a ghost, said.
- "I j-just found this book so i opened it due to curiosity! Nothing more." Maya said as she saw a strangely familiar figure in the book. "This." She pointed. "What is this?"
- "That it the top hat shadow, or ghost. He is the type of ghost which could kidnap kids and make others search for fun. He isnt that nice to be with" The ghost said.
- "This shad- ghost man took my brother, do you have any idea where he could be? Did he leave this book" Maya looked back up to where the ghost was.
- "No idea! But if he did leave this book, he wanted you to find it!" The ghost replied.
- 'After a few hours of reading and looking for other clues, Maya finally finds something, a hidden door. She doesnt know if it is a good idea to go through it but she still does, what could she find? Weird creatures, maybe. Who knows.'
- "This, this is totally not scary at all. This is normal." Maya laughed a bit as she walks through the path. "What in the paranormal things is that-" Maya looks at the dead trees with symbols and shadows roaming around it. "Im mostly weirded out than scared now. Mom pick me up im weirded out" Maya mumbles as she walks a bit more faster.
- "HAHAHAHAHAHAH" A unknown voice screamed.
- "WHAT IN THE RICHARDS HORRID HAIRLINE WAS THAT?!" Maya jumped as she got caught off guard. "The fuck is this?? A horror house." Maya whispered as she rolled her eyes. Hiding the fear deep down.
- "Why is she here? She creeps me out more than i scare others." Molvian spoke to his friend Alabon
- "I agree, but the actual question is. How the fuck the she get here?" Alabon replied with a worried look of his face.
- "Should we warn Mr. Lorei?" Molvian looked at his friend with a concered look.
- "We shall." Alabon disappears in thin air, and so Molvian follows.
- Maya was confused, as they thought she couldnt hear them, nor see them. Guess they were wrong.
- "ok.." Maya mumbled
