I looked around, I was surrounded by the winter forest while lying on the cold ground, wolves all around me huddling around me they were licking me, nipping at my clothes; The smell coming of their coats made me think of wet dog and yet also burning leaves and strangely lavender both pleasant and terrifying. Their tongues melted my skin; their careless teeth ripped at my sleeves and snagged through my curly brown hair, pushed against my collarbone, the pulse at my neck.

I could maybe have fought, but I didn't. I just lay there and let it happen, watching the clear winter clear sky get blocked out by their bodies before I heard one growl unlike the rest, one wolf prodded their nose into my hand and then against my cheek, casting a shadow across my face. Her blue eyes looked into mine while the other wolves jerked me this way and that.

I held on to those eyes for as long as I could. deep shade of blue, up close it was like I was gazing into perfect sapphire, I...i... l. I didn't want them to look away, and they didn't. I wanted to reach out and grab a part of them, their chest fluff, their muzzle something some part of them.

While those eyes glazed into my own set of eyes, I felt something... sadness? fear? love? then one by one the wolves started to vanish. slowly i was not being jerked around as much until they were gone, all of them and I was alone in the woods laying on the ground. i slowly stood off the ground using my arms to push myself off the ground. looking around i caught a new set of eyes of a shadow like figure, i couldn't tell what they were the only thing that stood out was the glowing orange eyes before they too disappeared from view.

suddenly i heard a voice and turned to the source before sprinting after it that slowly got louder, I wanted to hear it more clearly, so I keep running towards it, the closer I got the clear it became but also with growls and barks? I was confused and scared before i was coming face to face with a splitting self-image of myself, they only difference was they were shirtless and covered in scars and had a strange image on their neck, while their eyes were glowing black. before they walked to the side for second splitting image of myself appeared also with some differences then the first. this one was covered in Hickeys, love bites, wearing a flower necklace and had white glowing eyes.

backing up i turned to look into those perfect sapphire eyes again and i heard a voice growl out

"YOUR MINE AND MINE ALONE"

with a loud shout and my eyes shot open as I was lying in bed in a cold sweat , as I caught my breath and started to relax realizing I was in my bed and that I had same dream I have had for the last two weeks , letting out a sigh i slowly stood up I took a look at myself in the mirror soft baby blue eyes looked back at me , as my natural curly soft brown hair with blond highlights . I was quite small for my age of 23, I was only 4'11 and had more feminine body then most guys my age. grabbing my glasses and some clothes i quickly got dressed and decided to grab a drink and maybe head out for a walk to relax some more.

As i walked downstairs I start to notice that the lights in the kitchen was on and voices I don't usually hear were talking in a loud voice

"You have heard the rumors of all the sighting you didn't think to call me sooner?! And don't tell me you think it a normal animal, you know this is what my family does, just because you chose not to be Hunter doesn't mean you're not a thistle amber!

An older man around 5'10" in height, with an athletic and muscular build. He's a handsome, older man around his early 40 with short, light brown hair that is flecked with gray and has striking light blue-gray eyes, wearing a black leather jacket and some jeans, on his neck was a sliver-colored fang looked to be made out of crystal.

He looked at me smiling a genuine smile unlike what I was used to with my mother as I walked down the stairs before he walked over to me

"I didn't know you were up son sorry if our yelling woke you up" my dad said giving me a hug which I returned

"It's fine dad just had a rough time sleeping, I didn't know you were going to be in town yet. You usually don't come down here till it my birthday which isn't for another month or Christmas what's up?"

My mother Amber just shook her head and spoke up before my farther could reply. " Chris has a new job here in town with some friends of the family and was visiting us to check on us and make sure we're ok, you heard the news of the random people disappearing and random strange animal attacks.

Now ether go back upstairs or leave the house."

i replied as I slide by my farther and grab an energy drink, before continuing.

" And like I always have said ... sorry you ass, I never knew my sister as she passed before I was born, and the house isn't yours its dads and you can't kick me out; anyway, love you dad it lovely seeing you I'll be in the garage for a moment to grab some stuff before i go for a walk this morning. "

i said as i walked off without saying anything else before opening and closing the door to the garage.

"Seriously? amber what the actual fuck?! I knew you had some issues because grace died but what the fuck ?!"

amber turned towards Chris as she finished her glass of alcohol.

" I don't care that your here and honestly don't want you here. I really don't want you around Zach, I understand I'm not the same person you married anymore but your fucking family is to blame. Chris your family is dam good at what they do but your family brings pain anytime their around. The quicker you're out of my town the faster I can breathe better now pls get what you need from upstairs and leave. Amber said as she took out a brand-new bottle of alcohol and started drinking.

All Chris could do is sigh and head upstairs into the attic.

i pulled out my shoulder bag from underneath the table and opened it, pulling out my wallet vape phone and power banks that i had charging my devices, unplugging them before plugging the power banks into the chargers. i had everything i would need to walk around the forest around the house, just needed one more thing. grabbing a long black case from the table i opened it to pull out a pure black 2020 Mathew's conquest bow and pull back on the strings it felt light and was my gift from my grandfather Thomas thistles and told me to take good care of it. Also, inside the case was I only had three 32-inch Carbon Arrows that had a sliver tip Montec Broadheads that laid within the case that I was told never to hunt with as their tips were hard to replace which I found out to be true as I once spend a hole month searching for them and couldn't find them anywhere.

Placing the bow back in the case I locked it up i started my way outside were i saw dad ford raptor truck, but something had caught my eye the side of the door had ...claw marks? There was also some going down by the side of truck with deep cuts. carefully running my finger along the claw marks shocked and surprised by them, i didn't even realize Chris had walked out of the house and was standing behind me

" I took it to a friend to get it check out he seems to think a bear did it or something when I was out of the state hunting in Alaska " Chris said causing me to spin and nearly drop the case out of being scared from not hearing him come up behind me.

Hearing him call me Rosie made me relax some it was a nickname he used to called me when I stayed with him while I was younger, he called me that cause he said it reminded me of my sister as we both had a massive love for flowers, and it was a name grace wanted to pick out for me before we knew we was having a boy.

"Yeah, I can't part with it, was going to the cabin in the woods to shoot it, you know the one we used to camp in when I was younger? .
