Summary

Once upon a time, there were 4 kingdoms that ruled with the zodiac signs. Each kingdom harboured only 3 signs with no room for a fourth, each one was named after an element; Water, Earth, Fire, and Air. The 4-elements kingdoms coexisted in harmony with the law built by the first king of each kingdom. As many hundreds of years passed, no one dared to defy it or challenge it. However, one-day rebels led by a powerful man challenged the law for the first time and led the 4 kingdoms into war. "Who is he?" "Ophiuchus, the serpent bearer."

PROLOGUE

Once upon a time, a long time ago before logic was a word humanity could understand the weight of it, Earth was one huge continent divided into four kingdoms. A peace treaty was made between the 4 kingdoms as they decided to live in peace and set aside any conflicts. The peace treaty became the law, and among those laws was the elimination of any growing villages that could be a threat to turning into kingdoms. Therefore, by the name of the law, the Earth kingdom would march its troops onto the said villages and cut down their leader’s head then enslave the people soon after sending each to their rightful kingdom.

The four kingdoms were based on the twelve zodiac signs. The Earth kingdom was home to Taurus, Capricorns, and Virgos, while the Air kingdom belonged to Geminis, Aquarius, and Libras. Also, the Water kingdom was inhabited by Cancers, Scorpios, and Pisces. Lastly, the Fire kingdom had Aries, Leos, and Sagittarius. As each kingdom had limited zodiac signs and everything was run by the signs, the law didn’t allow the kingdoms to have mixed zodiac children.

For example, if a family from the Earth kingdom had a child with a zodiac sign outside of the three Earth signs, that child would need to be moved at the age of seven to his rightful kingdom in an orphanage. However, if that child was a king’s child, that child would still need to go to his rightful kingdom at the age of seven, but unlike the commoners, he will live with an aristocratic family and would not be eligible for the throne.

On the other hand, there was a law that everyone dreaded that belonged to the common-zodiac children which means children born on the same day of two different signs. The law didn’t allow those common-zodiac people to exist as the kings ordered the execution of those children no matter the rank of the parents. The kingdoms provided multiple hospitals for child labour that has approved sign makers and decapitators.
