Hope

The Light of Hope

Hope is a beacon in the night,

A flame that never fades away.

It guides us through the darkest of times,

And shows us a brighter day.

Hope is a spark that lights our way,

An ever-present light of grace.

It brings us joy and peace of mind,

And fills our hearts with faith.

Hope is a strength that carries on,

A force that will never die.

It gives us courage to keep going,

No matter how hard we try.

Hope is a dream that never dies,

A promise for tomorrow’s dawn.

It keeps us marching forward still,

Until our dreams have come and gone.

Intrusive Thoughts

The darkness within, it’s a deep dark abyss

It’s a place of shadows and secrets that hiss

It’s a place of anger and rage inside

Where nothing can be done to run or hide

The darkness within, it’s an empty void

A place where nothing ever gets destroyed

It’s a place of sadness and regret

Where all hope is lost, there’s no reset

The darkness within, it’s so hard to bear

But if we look deep enough, we’ll find our hope there

It’s a place of strength and courage to be found

Where we can learn to accept what’s around

The darkness within, it’s a part of us all

But with courage and strength, we can stand tall

We can find the light that will shine through

And make a brighter future for me and you.

The Battle Within

My mind is a prison, my thoughts are the bars

They keep me confined and they never let go

I’m stuck in this prison with no way out

The thoughts that I have, I can’t help but doubt

I try to stay positive, but the darkness creeps in

It’s like a fog that won’t ever lift again

My intrusive thoughts come in like a flood

And I’m left feeling helpless and misunderstood

I try to fight back, but it’s hard to resist

These thoughts just keep coming, no matter how I insist

My mind is a battlefield and I’m losing the war

But I won’t give up hope, there must be something more

I’ll take a deep breath and try to stay strong

And I’ll keep on fighting, no matter how long

I won’t let these thoughts control my life

I’ll keep pushing forward and I’ll survive.

Not in this case and the story line flowed. Like how the ending was as such that it could be open...
