Chapter 1--- Moving in

"It's about time we arrive! This horrible plane was supposed to be here in 7 hours, it took 10 hours instead." Amelia says to her father. Her and her father exit the plane. "Where now dad? Ugh." Amelia asks rudely to her father.

"I don't know if you keep your attitude up, and I will make your ride back right now. So ask me respectfully because I want to stay." her father says. Amelia takes a deep breath.

"Where now sweet and my godfather?" she asks. Her father points to a hotel. The hotel's sign looks like it's going to fall off with most of the lights in the letters not working. Amelia looks in pure disgust.

"There? That place is a wreck, can't you tell you old man? Or are you blind?" Amelia says, giving her father a look. Instead of responding her father slaps her.

"What did I say? Huh! Old man, well at least I look my age! Your 18 lookin' like 42-year-old!" her father says. Amelia looks to the ground and walks towards the hotel.

"O-o-okay," Amelia says with a side of heavy breathing.

"I am joking! You look older than that." her father says laughing. Amelia drops all her father's stuff except his wallet and starts walking to a different hotel with the sign working. Her angry father stares in shock, grasping the little stuff he was carrying so hard that it almost broke. He lets go of the things he was holding, and points on the way to the hotel. "This way, you brat." her father says, grabbing her attention. Amelia keeps her path to the other hotel.

"No," Amelia says. After the segregation of the two, they both arrive at the entrance. Amelia's mood shows on her face, showing the employee that she is in a state.

"Hello ma'am, what can I help you with?" The hotel's employee asks.

"I'd like a room, isn't obvious? I am not on a phone askin' for room service with suitcases, or am I? Huh?" Amelia asks, making the employee not respond and just throw some room keys at her. Amelia goes to her room. "Finally, my new home," Amelia says to herself. After settling in, a phone rings. Amelia goes over and answers it.

"Hello?" Amelia asks.

"Come down please, outside."

Ren: The storyline is great! The author has built a rich and compelling world, I really like the elemental powers and how those apply in combat. Sometimes there are situations where I wonder why the characters don't use their powers in more practical ways outside of combat, like why doesn't Ross use his ...
