Chapter 1: Leticia and Luciano’s Paths

Leticia Rojas: A Daughter of Two Worlds

Leticia was born beneath a sky heavy with stars, deep in the wild heart of the Luna Roja pack’s territory. Her mother, Doña Ysabel, was both revered and feared—a woman of fierce power, half witch and half werewolf, whose magic had saved the pack more than once. From her mother, Leticia inherited strength, a connection to the old spirits, and a restless fire that refused to be confined.

But Leticia was also marked by her father’s European bloodline—a lineage wrapped in tales of distant lands, honor, and loss. Her father had once belonged to another pack, far beyond the mountains, but had died when she was very young.

Growing up, Leticia walked between two worlds: the fierce traditions of the native tribes and the whispers of her father’s clan, now only a memory. Her mother taught her the ancient healing arts, the power of the moon’s phases, and the language of the wolves—while also warning her of the dangers that came with such gifts.

Leticia was wild and stubborn, often wandering the forest alone, learning the secrets of the land. She was beloved by the elders but sometimes seen as unpredictable, a soul too restless for the pack’s quiet order.

Luciano Morales: The Burden of Legacy

Luciano grew up under the heavy shadow of his father, Alpha Esteban Morales, a man hardened by battles, both physical and political. From a young age, Luciano was trained to be strong, to lead, and to bear the weight of the pack’s future on his broad shoulders.

Unlike Leticia, his childhood was filled with lessons in discipline—how to command respect, how to negotiate peace, how to carry the mantle of leadership without faltering. His father’s expectations were unyielding, and every step Luciano took was measured against the legacy he was born into.

Yet beneath the stern exterior, Luciano was quietly kind. He observed more than he spoke, learning the delicate balance between power and compassion. Still, the knowledge of his future—the binding of a chosen mate, the unbreakable bond of the Luna Roja pack—hovered over him like a shadow he could not escape.

Fateful Encounters and Quiet Bonds

Their paths crossed in moments both fleeting and profound. Leticia, the wild spirit of the forest, and Luciano, the destined alpha-in-training—two halves of a whole yet unaware of the threads drawing them together.

Luciano noticed her first during the hunting rites, when her instincts saved a younger pack member from a deadly fall. Leticia saw him from afar, a figure carved from strength and restraint, carrying a burden she didn’t yet understand.

Over time, their encounters grew—from guarded glances to shared silences beneath the stars, to moments where their worlds brushed like wind through the trees.
