Life On The Moon
The Spiral Moon. A moon phase that caused the entire world to suffer. A suffering from one side and another. One side was unable to see the night sky, while the other was unable to see the daylight. The Forever Night lasted for an entire year. Approximately since the Mystic Moon Nights' birthdays. On the 29th of May 2130, the Spiral Moon had begun.
But on the 29th of May 2131, the Spiral Moon had come to an end. The Forever Night permanently came to an end, all thanks to the Mystic Moon Nights battling for their lives, venturing into the world, searching for the orbs, and entering the Moon itself. However, every situation held a consequence. And that consequence was for the Mystic Moon Nights to be stuck on the Moon, leaving their families and friends back on Sirth. A Spiral Moon would soon occur again, but in a different direction.
Sirth was now entirely aware of the Mystic Moon Nights. The Mystic Moon Nights and the orbs were no longer a secret. Thus, catastrophe would occur. Foes of the past held grudges. Foes of longer pasts hadn't forgotten about the Mystic Moon Nights. Everything they had gone through was merely the beginning...
The Mystic Moon Nights turned twenty-two after reuniting with the Moon Creatures. Creatures they hadn't seen in decades. Creatures who raised them for their first five years. From the moment they ended the Spiral Moon together, the Mystic Moon Nights were stuck on the Moon with the Moon Creatures.
Alas... two more years had passed since the Spiral Moon had come to an end. After two years passing, it was the 29th of May 2133. It was the Mystic Moon Nights' birthdays.
On this day, they had turned twenty-four. The Moon was back to its usual state. An orbit of light, water, gravity, and moonstone. A quiet orbit that none other than the Mystic Moon Nights could live in.
Someone in an empty crater was sitting alone and journalling. She had her Moon Night Pen and Moon Night Book. She had her Moon Night Sword sitting beside her.
With long silver blonde hair and bangs, she had sapphire blue eyes. She was wearing a white short-sleeved cotton jacket with a sapphire-blue lining, a light violet blouse, and a moonstone heart-shaped golden necklace, along with an indigo string bracelet on her left hand, a red string bracelet on her right hand, black pants with sapphire princess-cut gemstones on the knees, and sapphire blue boots. It was her. None other than Elara Moonlight. The one who gathered all the Mystic Moon Nights.
With a soft smile, she kept writing about her experience on the Moon.
"Today is our birthday. We've all turned twenty-four. The Moon Phoenix advised me to explore the Moon for a few days to have a better sense of direction. I may have barely explored the Moon, but that's only because we were all training to become stronger and more powerful," Elara wrote.
"Two years ago, we snapped at the Moon Creatures for not telling us about the consequences. But lately, it seems everyone's been getting along better. Lyra and the Moon Mermaid swim together daily and craft seashell accessories; Atlas and the Moon Titan read a crazy number of books in a day together, and my biggest relief was Jericho and the Moon Golem. While Jericho still feels abandonment issues... it's nice to see him burying the hatchet with the Moon Golem. But... I still miss my family..." Elara wrote as she stared at Sirth.
She took a deep breath and closed her book, telling herself that it was her third birthday since she had last celebrated with her entire family. She stood up with a strong tone. Stretching her arms and shoulders, she hoped her friends were taking it better than she was.
After stretching her entire body, she picked up her Moon Night Sword and hung it behind her back. "Time to get going!" Elara told herself. Hopping away, she was on her way back to Moon City.
Meanwhile, a certain someone was at a crater filled with water. Diving deeper into the water, she kept collecting seashells underwater. With long light brown hair and side bangs, she had emerald green eyes. She was wearing light pink sunglasses on her head, an aquamarine blue and mint green striped shirt dress, along with white and pink seashell bracelets, black leggings, and baby blue sandals. It was none other than Lyra Moonstar.
Collecting shells underwater, she admired each and every shell she held and collected.
Swimming back up, she came out of the water and held a box. Opening it, she placed more of her shells inside for her to craft. She dived back into the water and swam deeper. The bottom was entirely moon sand. Digging some sand with her bare hands, she found more shells to collect.
"Alright! This is fun!" Lyra said underwater. Collecting some of the shells, she swam back up. Getting out of the water, she placed more into her box until it was filled.
"The Moon Mermaid was right! Seashells from the Moon are so beautiful! I can't wait to make one for Elio when I see him again!" Lyra smiled cheerfully. After saying his name, a frown slowly took over her mouth. She turned to Sirth and stared directly at it, missing Elio. She worried about him mostly.
"Elio, I hope you're doing okay..." Lyra softly said. She closed her box and smiled softly. Picking up her Moon Night Trident, she hung it behind her back. Hopping away, she was on her way back to Moon City.
In the meantime, someone was strolling on the Moon. In a relaxing and quiet atmosphere, he was simply reading while walking.
With strawberry blonde redhead hair brushed edgeways, he had diamond blue eyes. He had rectangular midnight purple glasses on while wearing a black suit jacket, a yellow cream buttoned shirt, a silver blue watch, black pants, and boots. It was none other than Atlas Moonwalk.
With the final sentence getting read, the book was shut as the cover was stared at.
"Well, I'll be! This book impressed me! The girl choosing to chase her dreams even if her lover wanted her to stay was a pleasant ending to the book! Love isn't about forcing a girl to abandon their dreams so they can stay with a man. It's about supporting each other, even from different kingdoms." Atlas shared an opinion with himself.
Looking around, he noticed he was alone on the Moon. With a soft chuckle, he couldn't help talking to himself after reading a great book. Taking out his Moon Night Spear from behind his back, he guessed he should return to Moon City.
"I can't wait to tell Livia about this book and how much stronger I've become!" Atlas excitedly said. He stopped, reminding himself that he wasn’t on Sirth. That he was still unable to return to Sirth, no matter how badly he wanted to. He took a deep sigh and stared at Sirth.
"Don't worry, my family. I will return soon..." Atlas softly said. With a soft smile, he hung his Moon Night Spear behind his back. Hopping away, he was on his way back to Moon City.
Elsewhere on the Moon, someone was in an empty crater with a messy area. A lot of tools and random objects were on the ground. He was crafting an object.
With black brushed back hair, he had ruby red eyes. He had a black fedora with a black stripe on, while wearing a black buttoned jacket, dark green shirt, along with a light blue scarf, black cargo pants with bright silver pocket chains, and black boots. It was none other than Jericho Moonstone.
Releasing his Moon Night energy into two gloves, they glowed in sky blue. "Those gloves will come in handy!" Jericho smirked.
Putting the gloves on, they widened into his hand size. He kept his palms open. Swinging his hand once, a line of sky blue shield stood floating. Punching it, the shield wouldn't budge. Spinning with his palms open, he created a cylinder around him. He giggled calmly yet excitedly.
"I know what to call you! Shield Gloves!" Jericho declared the name. Taking off the gloves, the floating shields around him vanished. He stared at the gloves and felt impressed with himself.
"Astera and Elsie will love these gloves! I wonder if my axe can destroy the shields!" Jericho took out his Moon Night Axe. However, that smile soon turned into a frown. Closing his eyes, he let out a sigh. Opening them back up, he stared at Sirth.
"Soon, I will return. Soon..." Jericho softly said. He placed the Shield Gloves away and hung his Moon Night Axe behind his back. Hopping away, he was on his way back to Moon City.
A little while later, Elara made it back to Moon City. The first and only city on the Moon. Walking through the pathway, she shouted to anyone nearby. Wandering further along the pathway, she made it to a fountain and found Lyra. Her voice echoed her name. Turning, she cheerfully called for Elara's name. They hopped towards each other and hugged above ground.
"Happy birthday, Lyra!" Elara wishes her a happy birthday. "Thanks! Happy birthday, Elara!" Lyra wished her a happy birthday. Thanking her, they looked around.
Elara asked if she had seen Atlas or Jericho at all. Lyra predicted Atlas was wandering elsewhere while reading a book. Elara figured, calling him a bookworm. She figured Jericho was elsewhere crafting new mystic items. Giggling together, they began walking together. Atlas hopped on a roof and kept searching for his comrades. Searching carefully, he found Jericho standing beside him. Getting startled, Atlas asked where he came from.
"Really? You're the one wearing glasses, yet I'm the one who scared you?" Jericho smirked teasingly. "Well, anyone would get startled by having a look at something so grumpy." Atlas fired back. "The hell did you say, Screwball?!" Jericho shouted. "You heard me, you ballistic moron!" Atlas shouted back.
Glaring at each other tensely with teeth gritting, they stopped and broke into laughter.
"Happy birthday, Atlas!" Jericho wished him a happy birthday. "Thanks! Happy birthday, Jericho!" Atlas wished him a happy birthday. Patting each other's backs, they heard a girl’s voice. Looking down, they found Elara and Lyra.
"Are you two secretly getting along up there?" Lyra teased, with Elara giggling with her eyes closed. In disgust, Atlas and Jericho urged her not to joke about something such as that.
Hopping down, they all wished each other happy birthdays and broke into hugs. Elara suspected the Moon Creatures were in their usual spots. Their habitats.
Walking together, Jericho hoped they included more food. He grew concerned over their food source. "Our past selves brought food here in case of emergencies like this. But we're also running out..." Jericho shared his concern. "That may be so, but we still have loads of bread and freezers in freezers. Not to forget the crystals of our elements are edible and drinkable. And I have a feeling that soon... we won’t need to worry." Elara shared a feeling.
Lyra wondered how many orbs had their families and friends located since their departure on the Moon. Atlas reminded them that they had the Orb Tracker. With high hopes, he believed it would be easier for them to locate the orbs, unless they fought some people for them.
Jericho gave a smug, knowing the emerald he located almost three years ago came in handy.
"Jericho, your smuggling is horrifying. Put it away," Elara told him off. "Hey! I can be smug how I want and when I want!" Jericho snapped. Laughing and walking, Lyra reminded them that they would meet up with the Moon Creatures in a few minutes.
Elsewhere on the Moon, the Moon Creatures were preparing the party decorations. Flying, the white feathers with sapphire blue eyes flapped his wings. The Moon Phoenix. He held the strings with his claws and hung them around the area.
Walking barefoot as always, she had long dark curly brown hair and emerald green eyes. She was wearing a white T-shirt and black shorts. The Moon Mermaid. She placed a birthday cake in the centre and had candles prepared.
Watching on the lookout for the Mystic Moon Nights, she was fifty feet tall. With neck-length light brown hair, she had diamond blue eyes and was made out of moonstone. She was wearing a giant party pink sweater with lime green liners, giant black pants, and giant black boots. The Moon Titan.
Organising the boxes of presents made of moonstone, his eyes were ruby red, while he was entirely made out of moonstone. He was wearing a black and white striped buttoned jacket, along with a black belt, and dark blue pants. The Moon Golem.
The Moon Phoenix informed everyone that he had finished the decorations. The Moon Golem hid the presents and was ready. The Moon Titan informed them that none of the Mystic Moon Nights had been shown yet. Placing the candles on the cake, the Moon Mermaid thought of something.
"Say, I just thought of another idea. None of us have names. We could easily name ourselves, but why don't we give them the gift of naming us?" The Moon Mermaid shared an idea. "We could, but we never name ourselves because there was no need to," the Moon Phoenix said.
"True, but what we call each other is just what we are. Same thing with the Night Creatures!" The Moon Mermaid shared. "Hmm... I suppose you're onto something! If that’s the case, we’ll hand them the power to name us! That would be their gift too!" The Moon Phoenix approved.
The Moon Mermaid asked for the Moon Golem. He also approved of the idea, wondering what Jericho would name him as. The Moon Titan thought it was a wonderful idea.
Noticing four figures from afar, she informed them that they were close. "Everyone, hide!" The Moon Titan told everyone.
The Moon Phoenix flew and hid above his temple. The Moon Golem hid behind the walls of his ruins. The Moon Mermaid dived into the water and hid inside the pool of the crater. The Moon Titan simply gave a poker face, knowing there was no way for her to hide, despite them walking towards her.
Stopping in front of her, Atlas greeted her with a shout from the bottom. Chuckling softly, she welcomed them back. "Listen, we need to talk. This is very important." The Moon Titan told them, causing them to worry. "Go through. We all have something to talk about."
Walking past her, the Mystic Moon Nights widened their eyes in surprise. Every Moon Creature popped out and surprised the Mystic Moon Nights. "Happy birthday, Mystic Moon Nights!" The Moon Creatures wished them a happy birthday.
Elara softly smiled and felt speechless. She looked up and complimented the Moon Titan's epic fake-out. The Moon Titan smirked, accepting her compliment for her acting.
Later in the party, everyone had a piece of cake on their plates. Elara didn’t understand. She reminded him that they couldn't get gifts due to the portal being closed. "How is it possible you got us gifts this time?" Elara asked. "My brilliant idea! Your gifts are to name us! Whatever names you see us as! Including the Night Creatures!" The Moon Mermaid revealed.
"Yes!" Elara and Lyra excitedly approved. "What?!" Atlas and Jericho were shocked.
Elara looked at the Moon Phoenix and asked if he was certain. "Of course! This is your gift! Whatever name you can come up for me, I will accept!" The Moon Phoenix assured her.
Thinking of a name, Elara came up with a brilliant name that described the Moon Phoenix. "I know! How about, Quacey?" Elara asked. "Quacey? Has a nice ring to it! Quacey Moonlight! Quacey the Moon Phoenix! I accept! Great name, Elara!" The Moon Phoenix rubbed his head on hers, causing Elara to blush with an open smile.
Lyra kept strolling around thinking. Nevertheless, she came up with a name. "I got it! Yana!" Lyra named the Moon Mermaid. "Yana? That’s a beautiful name! Yana Moonstar! Yana the Moon Mermaid! Love it!" The Moon Mermaid hugged Lyra.
Atlas had a name in mind. However, he reminded the Moon Titan that it was entirely up to her if she didn't like it. The Moon Titan assured him that there was no pressure. With a soft smile, Atlas shared his name for the Moon Titan.
"Rhea. How about it?" Atlas asked. "That's a wonderful name! Rhea Moonwalk! Rhea the Moon Titan! Wonderful name, Atlas!" The Moon Titan held Atlas with the palms of her hands, allowing him to hug her cheek.
Jericho was thinking hard. He grumbled in irritation. He opened his eyes and noticed everyone was watching him.
"Quit watching! I'm still thinking!" Jericho snapped with a yell. "That could take all day..." Atlas smirked.
He grumbled and widened his eyes. "I got it! You're... Apollo!" Jericho named the Moon Titan. "Apollo?" The Moon Golem repeated the name. "You're Apollo, and you're going to like it!" Jericho shouted. "I'm honoured with that name! Apollo Moonstone! Apollo the Moon Golem! Incredible!" The Moon Golem accepted. Jericho smirked angrily.
As of now, the Moon Creatures finally had new names. Quacey the Moon Phoenix, Yana the Moon Mermaid, Rhea the Moon Titan, and Apollo the Moon Golem. Elara suggested the Mystic Moon Nights that they now meet with the Night Creatures to name them. Summoning her Mystic Moon, Elara was prepared. Lyra summoned her Mystic Moon and informed her that she was ready.
"Wait, hold on! I gotta now think about another!" Jericho panicked with a shout. "No pressure! This is naming, not an IQ test..." Atlas teased and angered him.
"What did you say to me, Screwball?!" Jericho glared tensely while facing Atlas. "I said it wasn't an IQ test! Do you not understand the words that are coming out of my mouth?!" Atlas glared tensely while facing Jericho.
"Lyra..." Elara said her name, amused yet unimpressed. "Yeah, I know." Lyra said, amused yet unimpressed.
Commanding their Mystic Moons to enter, Elara and Lyra both stood still. Atlas and Jericho ended their bickering and summoned their Mystic Moons, commanding them to enter.
With each Mystic Moon obeying, the Mystic Moon Nights stood still with their eyes glowing in front of the Moon Creatures.
The land of light. Elara found the Night Phoenix flying towards her. The silver-blonde phoenix with golden yellow eyes. Predicting she was going to land on the ground, the Night Phoenix didn't stop. She flew in for a hug, causing Elara to fall back. She returned the hug while giggling on the ground.
"Happy birthday, Elara!" The Night Phoenix wished her a happy birthday. Thanking her, Elara sat cross-legged, while the Night Phoenix sat in front of her. Elara wanted to give her a name. The Night Phoenix was delighted to hear it and was eager about whichever name Elara would come up with.
"I have already come up with a name for you! Halo! What do you think?" Elara asked with a cheerful smile. The Night Phoenix’s eyes became watery. "That is such a wonderful name! I love you Elara! From now on, just call me Halo Moonlight, or Halo the Night Phoenix, or just Halo! I love the name, Elara!" The Night Phoenix hugged and sobbed massively on Elara's blouse, filled with joy.
Elara was caught off guard. However, she smiled with watery eyes and returned the hug.
"I love you too, Halo..." Elara teared up with a smile. With a warmhearted atmosphere surrounding them, they separated from each other. Elara asked if she had been watching her the entire day. "Even my diary?" Elara raised an eyebrow. "Well— no! I respect your privacy! Okay— a peak sometimes, but I tell no one! I'm sorry!" Halo flapped her wings in panic. Laughing adorably, Elara assured her that it was fine. Although a diary was meant for privacy, she was fine with Halo sometimes taking a peak, knowing she was always on the Mystic Moon.
Chuckling softly, Halo was now officially declared as Halo the Night Phoenix.
Meanwhile, in the land of water, Lyra found the Night Merman standing before her very eyes. He had cyan blue hair brushed edgeways, along with a beard and moustache, and aquamarine blue eyes. His tail was aqua blue.
"Happy birthday, Lyra!" The Night Merman wished her a happy birthday in a sing-a-song with a loud voice. Laughing at his enthusiasm, she hugged him and thanked him. Returning the hug, he was happy to see her on her birthday.
Separating from each other, Lyra wanted to name him.
"I am ready! Give it all you’ve got!" The Night Merman opened his arms widely and was prepared to receive a name from Lyra. She stared at him with an excited yet cheerful smile.
"Your name is Jaci! Like it?" Lyra asked with a cheerful smile. "Like it?! I love it! Thank you, Lyra!" Night Merman swam around enthusiastically and hugged Lyra. With a slight giggle, he put Lyra down on the water.
"I got you something!" Jaci brought a box from underwater and opened it. Lyra’s eyes glowed in admiration. It was a box filled with seashell emeralds. "So pretty!" Lyra's eyes shined.
Chuckling with a cheerful smile, Jaci was now officially declared as Jaci the Moon Merman.
In the meantime, in the land of gravity, Atlas was standing in front of the Night Titan. Sixty feet tall, he had brushed back strawberry blonde redhead hair, topaz orange eyes, and was made out of moonstone. He was wearing a lavender jacket with a white shirt, black jeans, and giant black boots.
Hopping on the palms of his hands, the Night Titan raised his hands up for Atlas to face him.
"Happy birthday, Atlas!" The Night Titan wished him a happy birthday. Thanking him, Atlas decided to give him a name he thought would suit him well. The Night Titan was ready.
"Koray. What are your thoughts about it?" Atlas named him. "To be named by you is honour enough. I admire that name." The Night Titan accepted the name.
With a soft smirk, he asked if he had read the books he handed him. Koray admitted to being a slow reader. Fingers connecting in embarrassment, he managed to finish five books since their last encounter. Atlas smiled with his eyes closed, assuring him that being a slow reader wasn’t a flaw.
"Reading isn't meant to be read as fast as you can. You can take your time with reading as much as you want. The point of it all is to enjoy them!" Atlas assured him. "Wise words from the suit! Thank you, Atlas! And thank you for this name!" Koray smiled in comfort. Atlas thought that they could now talk about the book he last read. Agreeing.
Beginning their talk, Koray was now officially declared as Koray the Night Titan.
In the land of moonstone, Jericho stood in front of the Night Golem. With neck-length black hair, she had amethyst purple eyes. She was wearing a black with cyan and red stripes sweater and black jeans.
"Happy birthday, Jericho! Love the gloves you made today!" The Night Golem wished him a happy birthday. Thanking her, he kept thinking.
Snickering, she asked if he was still thinking for a name. Jericho then widened his eyes in sudden surprise.
"I got it! Your name is Stella!" Jericho named the Night Golem.
"Stella? That's a pretty name! I love it! Stella!" The Night Golem accepted the name. Jericho blew a sigh of relief. Sitting on the edge of a crater, he asked if she was certain she liked it. The Night Golem promised him that she felt honoured with the name he had given her. Thanking him, Jericho smirked.
"Apollo better like his when I come back later!" Jericho smirked with his eyes closed. "Oh, I'm sure he already does!" Stella assured him. "Good!" Jericho widened his smirk.
Laughing together, Stella was now officially declared as Stella the Night Golem.
While the Mystic Moon Nights were on the Moon celebrating their birthdays, it was nighttime on Sirth. A certain man with a hood was at a restaurant in the Apricity Kingdom’s capital, Apricity City. Munching on a sandwich, a group behind him were bragging about their plans after they find the Mystic Moon Nights.
"Those cowards are hiding on the Moon! Once they return, I will kill two of them, but keep the ladies for me! I've done it before, I'll do it again!" The leader of the group gave a sly smirk. The man in the hood stopped eating and swallowed his last bite.
"Elara Moonlight and Lyra Moonstar! I’ll force those two to become my wives, and get them to do whatever I tell them to! One disobedience, I sure will give them a rough punishment! And if neither of them listen, I'll kill just as I have with my last few ex-wives!" He carried on bragging.
Hearing the group laughing together, the man in the hood stood from his seat. Furious over their choice of words, he began approaching them. Filling his fists with white flames, he stood by the table. The leader looked up and teased if he was lost.
"I could ask you the same thing. Unfortunately, it’ll be too late for you to answer before I burn you to a crisp." He firmly said. Extending the white flames through the restaurant, civilians fled out the restaurant screaming. The leader stood from his seat and pulled a gun on him. Shooting at the man, the bullets hit him in the chest. Nevertheless, the bullets dropped on the ground, causing no effect on the man summoning white flames. The leader whimpered in fear.
"I've heard about you. You're a scumbag whose known for treating women as slaves. If they were to disobey, you'd hurt and kill them. Someone such as yourself should know better than to draw attention to yourself. No matter, it ends here..." He clenched his fists together.
The scum noticed the man in the hood was powerful. "I'll do this fast. I've got orbs to search for." He coldly said. He widened his eyes and begged him to wait for a moment.
Shooting white flames from the palms of his hands, the man shouted in pain until he was demolished with a broken wall. Guards of the kingdom were rushing towards the restaurant.
The restaurant was on fire. The man absorbed all the fire in the restaurant and kept it to himself. Taking out some money, he placed a few papers on the table. "That should be enough for repairs." He walked out of the restaurant.
Approaching some hurtful ladies, he tossed the scumbag from the face at them. "He's all yours, ladies." He said. Walking away, the women clenched their fists for vengeance. Terror screaming in his eyes, he shrieked as the women began beating him up before the soldiers could arrest him...
Later on, walking in the empty wasteland... he removed the hood.
With dark brown hair brushed backwards, he had a beard and moustache, along with hazel-green eyes. He was wearing a black coat with a hood, a majestic midnight purple vest, black pants and boots. It was him. Prince Elias Kethian...
Would the Mystic Moon Nights soon return to their families and friends on Sirth? Had Prince Elias located any of the scattered orbs? Had any of the other groups located the orbs? And where was everyone searching on Sirth? Soon, everyone would see the future's light...

so happy to read this!🥺❤️❤️
Elias demon time is real 🔥.
So, just like I said the day you told me you were going to publish SM II, I promised I’d be here—and here I am! 😂❤️
You’ve made a great start. It’s a fresh recall of everything for the old readers too, and I think the whole process of naming them Mystic Moon Creatures and Moon Night Creatures is really going to help us understand this entire phenomenon much better. I did feel bad for the poor MMNs, though. 😭 They’re still stuck on the Moon, but at least they’re still optimistic about going back, and seeing them slowly blend in with their Moon Creatures is actually pretty satisfying. ❤️
