Prologue: The Root of the Problem.

The story begins in a vast, surreal expanse of space. Suddenly, we are drawn down to a ground littered with enormous pillars, echoing tranquility as peaceful sounds surround the scene. But this serenity shatters in an instant as blood begins to splatter across the ground—how could this happen? Why? A multitude of humanoid creatures, some defined in shape and others amorphous, leap and clash against one another. But at what cost to their existence?

Amidst the chaos, a figure emerges: a man clad in a coat, wielding a stick, with a scar etched across his cheek. His coat, adorned with the unmistakable symbol of "Yin and Yang," embodies the duality of good and evil. Following him is another man, equally stylish yet distinct, marked with a small black dot within the larger circle, symbolizing evil within good. A third figure, grinning slyly, bears a mark that features a white dot encased in a black circle, signifying good within evil. Two more figures are visible: one displays a complete white circle on his back, embodying pure Virtue, while the other has a solid black circle representing Evil and Sin. Their faces remain obscured, revealing only lips and chins, adding an air of mystery—especially for the two hooded figures with their extraordinary coats.

The Yin-Yang figure breaks the silence, questioning, "Is this fight going to last forever?"

The man with the black dot chimes in, "I hope it doesn't. Fighting itself is a colossal sin."

The one with the white dot chuckles oddly, "I truly hope this doesn't end; chaos is an art, right?"

The figure with the full white circle sighs, "I never wished for any of this… with the Sertox… My Vertox people… they aren't inclined towards fighting..."

The guy with the black circle retorts, "You can say that all you want, geezer, but when will you just... well, drop dead? I'm bored watching this fight... There's no plot, no intrigue... just Verses being obliterated, just like for centuries past."

The Yin-Yang man cuts in, "Want something twisty? Here's the deal: I possess the powers of both Vertox and Sertox." His voice drips with a mix of threat and bravado. "I can obliterate both of you and your little verse-games! Want to finish this war? I plan to pass my powers down to a successor... who will die and resurrect repeatedly until he finds the truth, the root, and ultimately kills me... How's that for twisty? If you want me to, I could even twist your neck..." He laughs, a maniacal grin stretching across his lips. Something feels off.

The figure with the white circle asserts, "I agree with peace..."

The man with the black circle replies, "Tch... Fine. You think that's 'twisty'? Watching you die would be quite the spectacle... I wish you would just drop dead soon."

The man with the black dot and the man with the white dot exchange weary glances before muttering in unison, "The Council leader has lost his mind, hasn't he?"

The black circle marked man confirms, "Yeah... pretty sure about that."

With a derisive tone, the Yin-Yang figure declares, "No, I call this twisty. From a specific verse, a boy will inherit my powers—the seven sins and the seven virtues. He will come to take revenge, hate me, and ultimately kill me. I'm worn out living like this..." He chuckles for a moment before adding, "So let it be."

With a dramatic gesture, he raises his hand, and a massive portal materializes on the battlefield, accompanied by the crash of a colossal trident that halts the fighting creatures in their tracks, compelling them to gaze in astonishment at the new development.

The Yin-Yang figure projects his voice, "I hereby declare that there will be NO WAR!!! Not now... Sertox and Vertox... I command you to cease... now… When I command, you shall be allies! Got it?..." As he speaks, his right eye emanates a dark glow while the left radiates light, and his lenses flicker with the symbol of yin and yang. Their faces remain a mystery, but the aura of authority is undeniable. "Each verse must remain intact... for someone will soon traverse through them, my successor..."

The creatures, known as "Sertox" and "Vertox," instinctively halt their combat, processing the command. They grasp only fragments of his words but understand the urgency: cease the fighting or face dire consequences.

The black circle man muses, "Seems the leader is serious... Patience... Perhaps we should end this... for now."

He refers to the white circle figure as "Patience," a strange address considering the ongoing chaos.

Patience retorts, "It was always you who craved chaos and dubbed it 'art,' Pride."

Thus revealing the deeper layers of their interactions—Pride, the agent of chaos, and Patience, the harbinger of order—setting the stage for an impending confrontation bound by fate and ideology. And their council leader, who keeps it balanced.
