The universe was once a barren, cold, sparse of a void.
It carried no light of warmth. No hope for life of any kind. It was all just a simple black, endless, and vast black void of space. Only millions of years into the future would anything be able to change.
It began with a soft glow, though from what is still debated, as no forms of intelligent life was there to see. The glow became brighter and more intense, until almost blindingly so, that the once black void was ne'er black anymore. Instead a large blast spread the light across it, which created small bits of radiation and specks of light.
Given time, the small specks came close to the radiation, and stuck to them. This made it grow rapidly to a large ball of gas, light, and warmth. Many other 'stars', as called in the future, started to form and collide, creating beautiful nebula each time. When too old, or more specifically run out of materials to continue burning, they also explode and create nebula. Nebula, a form of gas that comes from dead stars, makes colours and images never thought of.
Meanwhile, clusters of stars formed together, and made galaxies. Billions and billions of years later, the Milky Way was born. The star sun-to-be was still very young and curious of the universe. It wandered away from many others of it's kind and, finding a large expanse of empty space, settled there. Billions more years later, many circles of gasses started to form and circle the sun. It confused greatly, the young sun, but no moves for interference were done.
From the gasses came planets of varying sizes and colours, terrains and gravity, weather and possible life. What could be happening?, the sun thought, as it watched in confused interest. Millions of years passed with no difference, and the sun started to worry and mostly bore. With millions more passing, it gave up entirely on it's universe. This is a waste of time, the sun thought.
A figure arose from one of the many clouds still left by the planets. The brightness of the light blinded them, and they shielded themselves with a feathered wing. Once their eyes adjusted, the wing lowered, but still they knew not of who, what, or where in the situation. One of the ears twitched curiously as they watched the large ball of light, which didn't mind them, as it was not sentient in any form. The figure turned away, when bright flashes alerted that the sense of sight would be impacted by the light.
With a moment or so of staring back to the further away stars, their retinas adjusted, and they started to look around. Careful of no direct eye contact, their sunset eyes landed on a small, dense structure of rock floating just out of reach. Delighted, they tried to fly over, a sense of accomplishment flooding over them as they did. Their 'hooves', deciding to call them, landed on the rocky lava surface. Heat immediately surrounded their form and smoke billowed to the sky.
With millions of years passing by every second, it came by quickly, and Theia collided with the planet. A large sound came from the impacted area and sent huge tidal waves across the surface. The figure saw this and quickly flew away, looking back once at a safe distance, to see what caused it. But since time moved quickly, the damage was forgotten within a millennium, and a brilliant blue ocean replaced it.
