Prologue

In the room of the Three Fates, there are three gates.

One for the living, one for the unborn, and one for the dead.

The gate of the living can be found with the obvious golden threads.

Each and every gold string of life having the same dead end.

The gate of the unborn is marked by strings made of silver.

But don’t venture too far or else you’ll be stuck in the endless river.

The gate of the dead is easy to find because of its dark aura.

Just follow the path of red poppies and other deathly flora.

But what happens when the guardians of the gates grow tired?

Bored out of their minds of the same monotony of human life?

Well, then comes out these dangerous words, “My friends, let’s play a game.”

Then always the same reply, “Yes, let’s!”

And thus, a monster is soon to be created.

What price must the humans pay to hold it back with their weak chains?

Pain? But with what gain?

Yet this is the fate of all humans. There’s no way out except to play the game.
