Once upon a time there was a young girl obsessed with fairytales. Then author Lina Ljunggren grew up and decided fairytales weren’t just for kids and started writing her own, adult, versions.

Her books in the series I am Luna has captivated readers world wide with their mix of everything that makes adults fairytales amazing; Romance, hot shifters, mysterious villains, friendship, magic and spice.

The dark before dawn is an edited version of the first book Lina wrote. She got the inspiration after going on a trip to Lödöse Museum in Sweden. There she could see the evidence from how the black death affected a city. From the archaeological finds of a small child mitten, the story about Mary grew. What was to be a short story about loss and fighting spirit, evolved into a four book series. It took five years to write and another four to find the courage to let some one read it. Now it is finally here, the first book about Mary and her adventures.

When Lina isn’t working on her latest book, you will find her in her garden, weaving or spinning watching her dog play. Or on the couch with a good book, some hot chocolate, fighting the dog for the blanket. Or down in a mine in Minecraft, fighting off creepers and zombies.
