"Knocks it out of the park"

Greg did a fantastic job with this novel The main character Cooper is both flawed and likable. His connection to baseball pulled me in from the git-go and kept me engaged. The city commute and daily grind with the ferry were spot-on. I did, however, struggle with some of the "office talk" regarding the furniture business and maybe you could snip out a little of that.
The tension between his marriage and his past is well done as he journeys back to his first love/friend, Mary who is another relatable character.
I don't like to give away endings in a review, but the twist at the end was a nicely done. I most certainly will delve into another of this author's work. My only real suggestion would be to pull the sci-fi genre title - it never fully grasped it for me.

Alpha Cyrus

My only suggestion would be to spot check the random usage of the capital letters in the middle of a sentence or some missing punctuation. It just helps the story read smoother. I will check back when you have a few more chapters complete ( I am only able to see 2 so far)

Creative Conspiracy at its best!

H.R. Kemp delivers a conspiracy thriller that will keep you tuned in to the very end. She created a story packed with corruption, abuse of power both domestically and politically that one would feel it has been ripped from the headlines of any major paper. She even manages to weave in a tad of unexpected romance along the way.
Kemp's writing strength is apparent in her ability to bring the reader to the foreign country she is intricately describing but also fashions her array of characters in such a way that we can find ourselves despising Prime Minister Wrogarth with such ease and cheering on Shelley's surprising journey of love.

Greed, power and good triumphing over evil will not disappoint you in Deadly Secrets. H.R. Kemp's writing is clean, she has an attention to detail that is impeccable and should not be overlooked.

Cursed with Oblivion

Solid start~ I felt I could connect to Darcey. More importantly, the details made me feel present. I smelled the coffee!
