Compelling!

I have read many variations of the arranged marriage story, but this book drew me in right from the first sentence. The characters are well rounded and interesting. They have layers and we get to know them as they get to know each other. The writing is just detailed enough to keep you reading but not so much that it feels flowery or boring. My only critique is that the miscommunication between Therese and Clause made me want to shout at them, maybe bang their heads together and make them talk to each other...but perhaps that is what the author intended. Well done.

Captivating

This isn’t generally a genre I venture into (I’m more of a romance/chick lit kind of gal) but from the first paragraph I was hooked! The writing is so vivid that you feel like you’re walking right along with Halley. Easily one of the top 5 of all the books I’ve read on Inkitt and Wattpad. I can’t wait to see where the story takes me next! Love it!

So relatable!

I loved June from the start! She's so relatable and I think that's rare to find these days. Your imagery is just great; Awesome story!
