I write contemporary romance about people who think they already know who they are. My favorite part is proving them wrong.

I’m obsessed with dialogue that brings personalities to life, details that pull you into a scene, impulsive decisions, and moments worthy enough to slow the pace.

I love creating characters who feel like people you’ve actually met. Some you’ll adore. Some will drive you absolutely insane.

My writing process has been the same since I was seven: I create stories based on my own life.

Sometimes it’s a conversation that refused to end when the words did.

Other times, it’s one unforgettable person who quietly becomes the foundation of an entire novel.

And occasionally, it’s a single moment that refuses to leave me alone.

I take those moments that have claimed refuge in my mind and build from them.

The result is usually me yapping to an underpaid bartender who involuntarily moonlights as my therapist.

Occasionally, it blossoms into a novel.

I’ve always wondered if readers can spot the parts I didn’t make up.

It might be your favorite scene—or it might be the one that made you consider closing the book.
