I've spent my life doing a number of things that have contributed to where I am, experiences that have brought me to this place.

I grew up poor. As hard as it was, I wouldn't trade it that part of my life for anything. I learned greatly from it and it made me who I am.

I have been a teacher, from kindergarten to high school, teaching a wide variety of subjects including PE, Maths, History, Mythologies, Bible, Sciences, and English/LIterature/Writing. I've taught public school, private school, and homeschool.

I've been a writer for an online game company. The joy of entertaining people from all over the world was indescribable.

I've been an athlete, mostly because there isn't much to do in small towns in Texas. Through it, I learned a great deal about family, friends, and community. I hold the shot put record in my high school and the hammer throw record at the college I attended.

I'm a wife of 29 years.

I am a boy mom. My kids are adults, one of which is now married.

I create jewelry part-time from semi-precious stone and chain maille. Why not? Creativity comes in many forms.

After living in the city after so many years, I finally returned to the rural life. I revel in the silence.

The best animal on the planet is the dragonfly.
