Elle D Stein is a teacher and author of debut novel Shadow's Rose. Working with English by day, she loves creating fantastical worlds with new languages, witty remarks and, of course, tons of puns by night. Noteworthy among her credentials are a Bachelor of Arts degree in Linguistics, a creative writing certificate from Upskillist, and an award for third place in the South African Writers' Circle's "Forestry Tale" competition. Living and working from home in South Africa, Elle spends her free time reading, writing, daydreaming and doom-scrolling on social media (which she calls "research").
