Good, but not my style

Before I write, please keep in mind that I have not been a young adult in a few decades. So, this is not a genre I normally like.

The plot and story overall was fairly interesting. It’s a premise I’ve never heard before. I do highly recommend this story solely for the reason of how unique it is. You won’t find anything else like it. The summary was confusing to know what it’s really about, but it’s a great coming of age story. Toby deals with self confidence, drugs, anger, and many other things. A real coming of age and into his powers. It ends with a huge cliffhanger which is incredibly smart as it’s a series. Keeps the reader coming back to find what is gonna happen next.

Why so little stars? Well, the poor grammar and vague descriptions leave a lot to be desired. The story would be greatly benefitted with the use of something like Grammarly. The incomplete and run-on sentences, tense changes, and misspellings made the book confusing for me to follow. Had to reread several sections just to figure out what was happening. If these don’t bother you, then dive right in and enjoy this one-of-a-kind story.

Unique Young Adult Novel

This book feels more like a young adult novel to me. Not exactly my favorite genre, but I gave it a shot. The story is unique, like nothing I've ever read before. Reads very much like a webcomic or a webtoon anime type story to me instead of a novel.

The story is mostly dialogue with little extra information given on the scene. And the dialogue does appear forced or unrealistic throughout. I think this can be fixed by reading more novels or doing some research on the topic that is being written.

If you are into manga, anime, webcomics, etc then I HIGHLY recommend this novel. I can easily picture this storyline with beautiful drawings and speech bubbles.

Unique Story and Characters

This book started a bit slow for me for the first few chapters and then the action picks up. However, after a few chapters, it dies down again and the chapters become a bit bland.

The journey they travel on is well described, always feel myself immersed into the scene. The author does a beautiful job of building the vision, even with the unique creatures and monsters. The gods and world they created are completely unique and require a tremendous amount of creativity to maintain that.

The book is labeled as an erotica novel, but by chapter 19 there isn't even a hint of romance. So, if you're looking for a romance novel, don't waste your time. But if you want a good fantasy novel, highly recommend this book.

Great Story!

This story is wonderfully written. There are some great twists that keep you guessing throughout. The characters are easy to believe and fall in love with. You will laugh, cry, and fall in love with the characters and story. I truly enjoyed this book and HIGHLY recommend it.

There are some minor grammatical errors, but nothing that takes away from the story. The plot is a tad cliched and blends in with the multitude of romance novels that are out there. However, this does not detract from the story at all. It truly is a great story.

Basically Porn

This book is short, sweet, and to the point. Book lacks any substance with the plot and there’s a few grammatical errors. However, let’s be real, no one is reading this for either of those things. It has all the makings of a bad porn-o. The sex is well written and if you can get through this book without being aroused then I am impressed. So, if you’re looking for written porn then I HIGHLY recommend this!

Very original!

Great story! Very original plot lines. Draven is quite fantastic, his humor throughout everything made the story so much fun. The first few chapters promise a lot of adventure, but no romance yet. The characters were great, but I would like a little more back story to feel fully connected to the characters.

There are minor grammatical errors throughout the story, but nothing distracts you from the story. Highly recommend this story! You won't be disappointed by the adventure and humor.

My heart is still soaring!

Ok ok, I know what you’re thinking: who gives all 5 star reviews. To be honest, I don’t normally. But this story is a great love story.

The beginning is a whirlwind of emotions meeting the main characters. You immediately start cheering for them. You will fall in love with them and will cheer when they finally admit their love. The characters are believable, the plot is believable, and the writing is easy to follow.

There’s a giant cliffhanger at the end of part 1 that I’m still itching for answers on. However, part 2 is a great flashback to make you fall in love with the characters even more.

Only complaint is the book is not finished. I want to know how it ends. But I will impatiently wait for each update so I can keep reading.

If your a fan of a sweet romance with a mystery, this is the book for you. Highly recommend.
