It's such an intriguing story. Kyle is a very sympathetic character and you write in such an emotive way, my heart ached along with him.
The only thing I would suggest would be to avoid using asterisk to convey something as it can bring me out of my reading bubble.

Other than a few minor grammar mistakes this was a thoroughly enjoyable read.

Definitely intriguing

Overall I really enjoyed this. There were a couple of times where I had to reread a sentence to take it in properly which something interrupted the flow of the story but otherwise this was a captivating read. Looking forward to seeing what happens next!

What a sad little tale.
I havent noticed any grammatical errors as I was reading. But I have to admit I was more focused on what was going to happen to Maria and her father next.

Interesting read !

So far a very interesting read. I've spotted a few grammar mistakes (mixing up pronouns) but they're not major enough to pull me out of the story, looking forward to reading more :)
