Dear author, I really enjoyed reading the story and honestly, it had given me those thrilling vibes while advancing through each chapter. Even if you are a non-native English, your language is really impressive and, your descriptive capability can make the scenes come alive in any reader's mind.
A common critic that I felt like pointing out was that your grammar and minor punctuations were slightly off the track. For instance, there is some blending of tenses or some sentences were unnecessarily long. I understand that being a non-native can have its lacks but, learning to improve in those fields would surely eliminate those mistakes. Your introduction to most of the chapter could be less monotonous if you keep those descriptive long paragraphs to a certain limit.
The best part for me was the plot development and, technical terms you used. They made the story more realistic and, kept my attention intact. The story had good humane morale that caught the contemporary problems of the society. I loved every character and their perspective evolvement. The story had a great mix of horror. Thriller and action so, coming near to the end of the story I was eager to know the result.

I Saw Her In The Mirror

A great short horror story, I must say. The book overall is very appetizing and unique to read while your writing style is beautifully crafted and precise. I was really hooked with your description style and how you presented every moment through first-person's point of view. The characters were easy to warm up with and every character had their distinct introductions at the beginning. It has excellent scary moments and the suspense throughout the story engaged me to crave for more chapters. As a reader, I really enjoyed a lot and liked the story.
I must also add that the story though in overall has a great package, I, as a reader, think that the climax came a bit quickly and abruptly. I felt that there should have been more paragraph spacing as my eyes felt quite difficult to catch with those long single paragraph, but the storylines were good. I think there should have been more introduction about the antagonist since the protagonist was her sister and her father's denial about discussing the whole situation clearly, made me confused at the end. Also, some of the protagonist's actions were unclear as to how and why she felt an urge to use the keys.
But other than that, I felt the story was well written and the descriptions too were executed very well. I loved your use of words and view about the whole situation. It was imaginative and truly great for a short story. The book is worthy of more readers and views and I hope that through these reviews, the author can learn and improve more. Interesting

The story has an intriguing plot and, with the introduction of magic, mages and fascinating world, I think the book is very good over all. I am hoping for Skye to get more character development because as per your intention, I cannot agree with her in some manner. There are many vivid descriptions made in the story from which I am inspired to let about showing some scenes and not just telling them.
The book in overall is great. Plus, your book cover is just 😘👌

Wonderful !!!

The story is lovely even if it is based on warring times and struggle. I love the way it is presented through a child's view and, their unsoiled innocence. I like how some small details of life are made noticeable here. There are few punctuation and, spelling mistakes but, this is a wonderful story overall. ❤❤
