I LOVED it

I still have so many chapters to go but I could tell by the first lines that I would love this story, and I was right! The story of Persephone and Hades has always been a favorite to me and the way you retell it is beautiful. I love the hidden scheme behind Persephone's words and I'm SO intrigued to continue with this story! Definetly a story worth reading! Wow, just well done.

Neat and Written Well

I loved the tone of the story and the small mystery behind the one called Mr. Woolf, along with the painting titled, "Birches and Magnolias." As reading on and learning about the few characters I was introduced to I found myself curious and enticed to continue to find out the importance of the painting. To me, it reminded me of The Picture of Dorian Gray. Your writing style seemed to fit the century yet, was simple enough to understand. There were a few small grammarical errors but other than that it was flawless. I cannot wait to read more! It's a defient worth read :)

Interesting Read

As a writer who writes suspense for a living, you've done a great job conveying it throughout the story. I thought for how small the story was, the character were well-placed. I loved the character, Finn, who is an archaeologist that is blamed. What I felt it lacked was descriptions, though this is me personally. I thought the writing style of this story was unique and the premise of the story was fascinating. It remembered me of a classic 'who-dun-it' which I loved. Apart from the lack of descriptions, I felt that the grammar could use some work as well. Though, I do have to say, I did enjoy reading this tale and hope to read more of this author's work in the future.

If you like classic mysteries, this story may very well be for you.

Interesting

It was an interesting plot; I wasn't expecting Mr. Black to lose everything he had for sure. My only comment would be that the story moved a little quickly, but I could keep up, anyway. Great grammar and an interesting writing style. I'm intrigued to see how Mr. Black gets out of this sticky mess with his company and his wife or if he does at all.

Intriguing

I was hooked by the first few paragraphs and as the chase went on and the eventual end to the chapter with our character fading to darkness, I couldn't help but turn the page! I haven't gotten too far yet, but the plot is captivating, the grammar is excellent and the writing style is just beautiful! I love the before and after type of chapters set up here, it really is helpful toward the reader and helping us figure out what in the world happened!
