I have already commented on what I felt. The story is beautiful, cozy, and fresh. I found Emma humble. Or in the future, she will be the power pack character that I like to see in the story; A strong independent woman.

Different

The story is really different for me as I have never read anything like this, the fight sequence in the story is also remarkable. I've learned a lot from stories, especially how to write a perfect fighting scene. It's also fantastic to see how Toby went from weak to strong. With each chapter, he cultivated a new kind of power. Kudos to the author. The writing style is different. But the length of a paragraph is a bit long which bores me. Overall, a great read. good luck.

Different one and interesting

Your writing is good, more details will give depth to your story. I also felt that your plot is different but I need more chapters to feel satisfied.
First-person writing is fun. You will be the character while reading.

But in the initial stage, too many characters will confuse the reading interest. your five chapters are only giving me the feeling of an introduction to each of your characters. Meaning the main fun hasn't started yet.
