Like but not Love

I read the first chapter of this story. I have to say that while the characters seem very real and likable; the plot not so much. I find it somewhat interesting but I felt like the first chapter droned on for a bit. I'm sure that if I continued to read that would change. However, the first chapter didn't really drag me in and that's something I like a book to do. Overall I liked this book but didn't love it.

I read the first chapter of this and thought it was really good. You approach a subject matter with a new look on it. There were only one or two problems that I had with this and I wouldn't even call them problems. I found that you repeated a few words one too many times in a paragraph and I understood why you did it, but it almost seemed unnecessary. That's the only "problem" that I found. Overall it was a good read.

Great Mystery

I have only read the first chapter, but that was enough to grab my attention. The mystery that surrounds the mother and the children and why they are running away had me reading more. Even the mystery behind the missing kids and Henry's daughter held my attention. All in all it's a very solid read.
