Compelling, Creative Concept

Spirit of Fire brings a new spin and perspective of the "elementals" type trope. It's fully unique and new, but easily explained and understood. I think the strongest part of this book is the characters. The each have a story and come alive on the page. The emotions of each character come through clearly and make them relatable to the audience. The characters are what hooked me from the beginning. The incorporation of romance is so sweet and enjoyable to read, but doesn't overpower the plot.

I'm looking forward to the sequel and following Saf and Coburn further!

Beautiful Characters and Great Potential

Partners in Arson was a great read for me. I think the concept is creative and compelling and I look forward to seeing how the plot develops! I think the strongest element of this story is the characters. It might take a bit to get to know them, but as the book progresses, the author is able to draw you in and become invested in their stories as individuals.

The only thing I would say that might improve the story is to add more "meat" to it. It would be nice to see a little more character development and world building. For the most part, the only significant interaction we see with the main characters is with each other. It would be interesting to see how they interact with their peers or family members to help us get a better feel for the world and how the supporting characters affect the protagonists as well as giving the story a more three dimensional feel to it.

Overall, worth the read!
