I do think the two chapters could be made into three, maybe a middle chapter diving more into the academic investigation details. Just a thought.

Excellent start to this book. You have a firm grasp of your characters. There is a lot of room for the characters to grow.

Your technical skills are on point for your age. You will learn more throughout high school. Don't be discouraged. You write better than many grown adults. I encourage you to talk with your English teacher or watch some writing tutorials on YouTube. I'm 47 years old, and I still watch the tutorials!

You are off to an amazing start! I bet many of us wish we had started at 13. I look forward to watching this book grow. Please don't give up. You have a gift!
