Emilia's Protector

They say we all have a guardian angel. Emilia has her elf, watching over her and protecting her from all danger. Whatmore, he teaches her to respect others and she learns a lot. I like the story, the fantasy world where all sorts of things happen. It is engaging enough. I would just suggest a bit more of a background for the reader to fully grasp Emilia's world. This will help get the story to flow. Well thought out and captivating for the right audience. I hope the author goes the extra mile and polishes the story. A good start. Strengthen the hook and keep your readers captivated.

Unmasking our Morality

What I love most about this novel are the flowing words. It reads like a smooth ride. Thankfully, the writer has taken the time to polish her work. The story is told in a voice suddenly made to question our own moral values with regards to how we handle our own world. How this comes to be...the birth of her child calls for her to question everything in her world.
A good read which is written to provoke one's conscience while at the same time it entertains. A recommended must read.

The kingdom of Archer

At first, I was deeply disturbed by the bullying so common in schools these days. Then I discovered it was a clever way to get the reader interested and give the story a Mills & Boons flavor so to speak. Parker the bully, a true gift from hell and his victim, timid with bullying father and Crystal the only person who believes in her. Unfortunately, in real life victims of bullying never have mates like Crystal - so they easily kill themselves. Angel is there to shock Parker into realizing the seriousness of his deeds. A good story with a goal of finding your soulmate. I loved this. We all want to find our soulmate. Add a twist to this, his victim is his soulmate! Whatmore, she has a second soulmate, one who is willing to fight for her!
Now Parker has a real fight and realizes the meaning of love. A good read which has potential.

Loving Violet

I love this story. Well told with enough detail to throw you right into the mix of things. An accident gets everything rolling and the writer can sure tackle the challenges of getting the reader right into the mix of things. You touch, smell, feel, taste and see it in one whole scene.
Next chapter finds Vi being Miss Perfect, and the writer is skilled enough to take the reader into the world of running a hotel. So good and real - you can even smell the clean sheets! And Vi jumping from one crisis to the next. Feeling down and challenged by her junior. Honest feelings expressed well.
This is a bestseller on the way....ONLY if the writer keeps up the diligent work of going the extra mile to get the reader hooked. This will be a good book. Its refreshing to read a story someone had taken the time to write and polish. I can't wait to read the rest of this story - when it becomes available.
Good work. Deserves a five star!

Proxima B

An interesting beginning to what promises to be a good read. I am curious. So are the astronauts! I guess we will have more details on the main characters.

Deployed

Having read the first few chapters, I am encouraged by the writer's effort at constructing the story and building up the suspense. A rescue mission is risky. Mayron is confronted by all the fears of going on such a mission with little to go on. It is a life and death situation. The secrecy leaves him feeling apprehensive. He is all alone until Sonja enters the scene. Here the story becomes interesting.
The characters come out strong with each new chapter. The story develops at a reasonable pace. The mission at hand is what will make or break Mayron and display the author's skills.

Once I get to the end of this story I shall do a full review.

Seeing Scarlett

I couldn't wait to write a review.
I keep wanting to say this is how a good book should begin ( and hopefully end). The story grips you right from the beginning. The silver car reminds me of the silver bullet ( fatal for vampires!) - I am already hooked, I desperately want to move on and read more... What you have here is the making of a great writer. No sparing detail. The opening is what a good book is about.
They make the best coffee ... which I haven't tasted... (Better than blood?)
An important plus. The writer has taken the trouble to fill us in with the background in well-spaced spoon feeds. Not one downpour. The story flows well with suspense keeping you on edge. So I want to read on... A refreshing read from the usual difficult-to-read-and-follow fiction out there .

I will do a wholesome review at the end of reading this novel. So far so impressed!

Wonderland worlds

I loved this idea of an escape into a wonderland with a dreamlike reality.
The two girls need this escape. The death of their grandmother does leave them devastated. Was she murdered or was it suicide? With gusto, they venture for clues... only to discover a magic looking-glass world. The writer does this well. She takes us to another world. Escape is comforting. A fairytale world opens up. I loved the idea of paintings that open up new worlds. Very original. A one plus.
This book brings a fantasy world to life. I can see a book with a promising theme and a good storyline.

The Lady and her Prince

I admit I found the story slow at the beginning. Then, the story finally takes off with the arrival of the letter and becomes captivating, enough to keep the reader curious.
Good thing about polishing grammar is the reader can concentrate on reading the story. This is a plus for this book. It is clear.
Elizabeth has to give up everything to save her family from poverty. Her grandfather tries to reassure her, if she doesn't like what she finds ( the Prince, that is) she can always come back. This is the most reassuring statement. It's comforting. He wants her to be happy.
The writer takes us to the delicate politics of the king's court. It is here that the writer's skills are needed most. Fortunately, the writer does this well with a spice of magic and witchcraft. I believe this adds flavor to the coming of age of the young prince. The kingdom is his if he succeeds in walking through the minefield.
The message is clear. I believe this story has in it to become a great book.

Ace

I think this is an Ace story. If you can keep up the momentum, I bet you have a winner here. I like the humor, the real conversation with all those swear words. Can picture it all. Please don't disappoint. Finish the book with the same pace you got it going! Good luck.

Flame and Shadow

So far, the story has me hooked.
The story is a sad one. A girl waiting to be rescued from an orphanage and be part of a family. Wanting to belong. This, the writer does well. I get the Dickens feel in this story ( the Victorian time when orphans were made to feel miserable, and unwanted). I can see Sera, wanting to be picked and be part of a happy family. Her world and her burning eyes. Sera wants to impress but the fire ruins it all. And there is the welcomed twist to the whole story.
This is a good start to a story that can turn out to be great. It all depends on the writer's skill to keep the reader curious.

I shall do an overall review of the book later.
