Don't turn arround!

A great take on this kind of horror/thriller! The characters were well developed in such a short time and the grammar was great! This story had me reading it in one sitting! So tense and creepy and I actually thought the (almost) ending was so moving! I need to know what happens next! Does Sayuri find a way to defeat Hana's ghost? Or are we left to make our own conclusions!

Tense horror with a twist!

This book was fast paced and tense! I really liked how the character descended into madness, that was done very well! I also liked how the boy would come out of the painting and speak to her, I was expecting him to be evil and scare her so this was a nice suprise! Also the ending really shocked me! I did not expect that at all! Sometimes a twist at the end rather then a happily ever after is a great way to end the story and this was well done! It is an ending that leaves you thinking oh my god what happened! (That's a good thing!) What I would have liked is to see an insight into their relationship in more detail, maybe a reflection of what the past was like, how the love was lost, just to add depth to the characters and perhaps show Kathleen as more stable at the beginning of the book so her descent is even more shocking! The language could be better at times and the grammar and structure will need some work, for example there are some letters and words missing. This book was intriguing, tense, spooky and I enjoyed it! Great work and keep writing! ✍️😊
