Great story! The characters were real and you could feel their pain. I loved the ending after all the twists the ploy took.

Awesome storyline

Truly one of the best ex wife books I've read. The characters are real and well developed. The ex wife is not some weak pushover but maintains her strength throughout all. I really recommend this book.

The story is pretty good although I don't understand why everyone wants the main female character's powers when she doesn't use them and is so helpless it's sad. That being said it was a quick read and not bad as a romance. It does need to be edited. There are a lot of misspelled words.

Loved this story except if you read the series I'm missing one of my favorite characters due to cancer but if we hadn't lost him there wouldn't be this book. This book was great and as usual the author has the ability to make the characters so real. I'm glad Jimmy straightened his act out.

Very good story line and I like the characters. Jason did need a swift kick in the butt a few times and it was sad when a character was lost. There were a few grammatical issues but I didn't think they really detracted from the book overall.

If I could give this story higher than 5 stars I would. It has a unique plot, great well developed characters and plenty of twists and turns.

Liked the story but...

I liked the story and it is defective of someone who has gone through abuse. I understand there aren't happy endings for everyone in life but I think there could have been a happier ending. The reason is this book had the opportunity to give hope to lots of abuse victims out there that read it but instead it failed.

On a technical note the spelling needed to be edited better.

Good start to a series

Really like this story so far. I'm glad the author contacted me to check out her bks. The characters are great especially the 4 girls and James albeit mature for their ages but it fits well with the storyline. I'm off to read the 2nd in the series.

I really liked the way the author presented this story as letters. I did think at one point Emily needed to get some backbone as opposed to being a doormat. That's how involved the reader gets with the characters. Overall I did like the story.

This is a really good story with characters that have complicated backgrounds. I like the way the author incorporated their backgrounds into the story so that the reader knows why they are the way they are.

I don't want the series to end

Another great book in the Pagosa series and like the others a real page turner. I'm so happy that Luke found love. The characters in this series become like friends that you know well. There is so much more to tell and I hope the series does go on and on.

This is the 2nd book I've read from this series and I am hooked. The characters are great, I love Willow and Grace. The book was a page turner with murder, greed, hope, love and more.

Good story and I liked all the background info on the characters but I did feel there were some loose ends, Leo? Who was the legal husband going to be? I felt that the last few chapters were the guys just using Maya for sex except maybe Xander.

So far this novel is really good. I do think it would have been interesting to hear why Maggie is like she is. We've learned a lot of things about Asher but not much about her.

Great story. I read it all in one sitting. The characters were real. What I liked most is instead of your standard romance where the main characters hate each other then love each other and it's all about the sex, there is a real story here. Sometimes you'll laugh and sometimes what is happening will bring tears to your eyes.

Definitely recommend reading.
