Blue Butterflies - My reading experience

Blue Butterflies is the story of an Olympic diver Camille Wallace. She loses her sister a day before her wedding due to the betrayal of her sister's fiancee.

Camille and Willahmina were both dating Hightower brothers Kyle and Kent respectively. The story introduces the readers into Camille's past, the events of the night that led to her sister's death and her break up with Kyle Hightower, the only man she ever loved.

Camille moves to Pagosa Cliffs with her daughters and 15 years later the fate once again cross her path with Kyle Hightower, the man who broke her heart. The author has an unique writing style that will lure you right into the plot.

The emotions will hit you right in the feelers and I enjoyed every bit of this story from the base of my heart. When you read about Camille's diving, you will feel like you have taken a dip with her, it is that good. This story doesn't just deal with Camille and Kyle. Each character in this book has an important role to play and they equally help the progress of the story.

There is love, humor, pain, betrayal, friendship and a lot of cliff hanging moments which will have you bite your nails in anticipation. The humor in this book is all worth it. The Wallace girls Gracie and Willow has got a tongue that will crack you up like no other.

It beautifully portrays how Camille and Kyle has matured over the years. Each having their own demons to face and all the characters in this book play an important role in helping them find a way back to their love.

Thanks a lot for writing this story and I can't wait to get this book published.

Entertaining Read!

I enjoyed reading this story a lot. Kitty's Witch is refreshing story of a Witch and her obsessive familiar, who's also a shape shifter. Serena hates her Cat. But as fate would have it, the Cat is not a normal kitty. She considers herself a faulty witch. But what follows is for you to read and find out.

The world building is great and I loved the unique approach on familiars and witches. The book is filled with humor and intended for adults with its mature language. It has been a while since a book made me laugh.

Serene and her filter-less mouth got me hooked right away. The very first chapter, where she describes her cat alone is proof enough. The Cat in turn is proud, obsessed and at times don't give a shit about anything. I like him a lot.

Every character is very likeable. Expecting to read Hayley's story next.

Love it!

I love this story. I just started reading it and like it so far. It keeps me hooked. I'll come back to leave a detailed review once it's finished.

Captivating Read!

This story is different from what I've read before and for that cheers to the author. It kept me hooked and I enjoyed it. The descriptions were excellent and the unexpected twists kept me entertained.

It's difficult to summarize the story in two or three lines. But, I'll try. Candice's father is a magician who goes missing when he performs a dangerous trick. Her mother continues to search for her husband, but it was Candice who figures the secret and follow her father's footsteps. She step into another realm and as the secrets of the pasts are unveiled Candice realizes she has gotten herself into something she wasn't prepared for. And it's too late to get out.

When the initial chapters keep you wondering if she will get caught or not, the later chapters will keep you at the edge wondering if she'd get killed or not. The mystery surrounding her father is built so well.

There were times I wanted to smack Candice in her head and tell don't do this. Lol... She is different. King Kyril is the poor guy, since the story follows in Candice's perspective we don't get to know more about him. Looking forward to the second book in the series.

I just started it, but knowing the magic in her words, I am so excited and can't wait to read it all... It's a wonderful read.

Non-cliche Revenge Story!

This story is intended for mature readers and has a deep story plot.

Ella and her parents are ambushed during their visit to their neighbouring pack. She is sexually harassed and her parents are killer thereby making her an alpha.

Now in the dangerous world surrounded by power hungry packs, she must find a way to protect herself and the little members of the pack that won't abandon her. The fire for revenge burn within her and with no wolf and a strong pack she must find a way to avenge her parents death and all the wrong that was done to her.

This story is really written well. The author has taken a sensitive plot and treaded carefully. Ella is a strong female lead and the story revolves around her. She is clever, her intelligence compensate for the lack of her wolf and the methods she use is awesome.

This is not a cliché and the story will keep you hooked. This story might feel intense for some readers due to its emotions, which is so good by the way.

The approach on werewolf community in this story is very unique and the author has concentrated even on the finest details, leaving nothing out. You will meet a lot of females with strong will and definitely the alphas are not jerks. Well, except for a few and Ella has something for them.

My personal favourite is where she deliver four wolves who attacked her home to the enemy alpha, dressed up as dogs well more like they trim their hair to look like a poodle and more...no more spoilers, but this is freaking hilarious and a huge blow to their werewolf ego. There are more incidents like this in the book which will have you ROFL.

The story takes a surprising turn after a good first half and after that it is like you are in the midst of Hollywood action movies like Resident Evil or 28 days. The action scenes are done so well. The author's experience is evident in his writing and very informative for young authors.

Loved it!

A Wonderful Read!

I love her stories and this is no different. It moves you to the edge of your seat right from the beginning and keep you wondering what will happen next.

Violet is branded as a breeder and left in a rotting cell to breed with a rogue. She uses the only chance of survival and manages to escape with the rogue. In an attempt to earn his trust, she gives him an one-sided mark, only to meet her true mate when they reach the rogue's pack. Only, the rogue wasn't actually a rogue, instead a high ranking wolf.

The story has everything and I love how good the author's words are. They just stir your emotions and only a few lines into the story, you may find yourself cursing and feeling for someone you know isn't real.

SteamyHot is also known for creating strong females characters with actual spine and uniqueness. They don't bow to d***s. She writes about pain and how it makes the characters mature. It's a wonderful journey and I am looking forward to read more of this.

Unique Plot

This story is about an Old man wanting to go back to his youth and live his life to the fullest.. He dreams everyday and one day his dream of becoming a youth comes true. What happens next? It is time to face the consequences for his actions.

It's something different from what I have read and I really enjoyed the book. The emotions were really good, I was able to feel his pain, struggle. His need to get rid of the pain and the consequences made it all the more realistic.
