So far this is really good! I can't wait to read more and find out what's going to happen next. 😁
First off, I love this book so far, and I genuinely want to and can't wait, to read more, and find out what happens next. Second, what Prince Elijah did, was unforgivable, he humiliated her, in front of so many people, for just protecting and doing what she thought was right. How she didn't punch him, when he had the audacity to ask her to go somewhere with him, in a way that is usually a friendly and a "nothing's wrong at all" thing, is just ridiculous. If I were her, I wouldn't have trusted him, and would have made him work for that trust to be EARNED back, I mean, come on! HE LITERALLY HAD YOU BEAT, BY A GUARD, BECAUSE YOU DID THE RIGHT THING, IN FRONT OF EVERYONE! AND THEN HAD THE AUDACITY TO ACT LIKE IT DIDN'T EVEN HAPPEN, AND YOUR SUPPOSED TO GO BACK TO NORMAL!! NO! That is most definitely NOT how it works. Oh, and Third, what was up with absolutely NO ONE stepping in, as she was being beaten, for doing something that was right!? NOT OKAY.
Read the story now
Ok, other than those points, in which some characters are being well and truly complete Jack***es, I love everything about this book. Obviously the characters being this way, are that way, for a reason, it falls into the story, and how Cloud feels, to being ashamed of herself, humiliated about the events, to then, having the feeling of complete sorrow, and betrayal from people she thought she could trust, to not put her into that situation. Then, they went ahead, with what they were doing anyways, knowing how she would most likely feel, and that the next actioms they took, were going to burn the bridge that they might have possibly started to form, and there was a possibility, that the bridge, like the saying of extending the olive branch, that bridge was the olive branch, and it would stay burned, and even with this, they did it anyways, and hurt her, knowing what it would do. This is an amazing book, and I can't wait to read more, but I love the detail, emotions, and the overall storyline, it really gives you a sense of what the characters are feeling, and I can't wait to read more. 🙂😊
