"Officially adding this to my comfort reads. Just like the first book I read from this author, this one had the perfect mix of humor, wit, sweetness, and heartbreak. It was just so good from start to finish. I struggled a tiny bit with Ruby at first, but she really grew on me as the story went on. Lewis, on the other hand, had me immediately. I loved him from the beginning. Such a genuinely sweet, lovable man. This book was perfect to me."

"First, I fell in love in Scotland because of this author… now I’m sitting here daydreaming about Greece, warm beaches, and complicated men with beards. Sigh. This is becoming a problem. Or a lifestyle. Who knows? What I love most—besides the sexual tension that could fry my phone battery—is that her stories always come with these mysterious little seeds planted at the start. You don’t realize they’re important until they bloom halfway through and slap you emotionally upside the head. And I LIVE for that. Also, the characters? They’ve got history. Real, messy, tangled-up-in-feelings kind of history. None of this ‘I saw him across a crowded bar and now we’re soulmates’ business (okay, maybe a little of that, but with a wink and a twist). It feels more grounded, more honest, and a whole lot more fun to unravel. Basically: if you like slow burn, snarky banter, and a Mediterranean vacation spiked with angst and heat—read this. Your heart will thank you. Your productivity… not so much. 😅"
Enjoyable read
"Third story I read by this author in about as many days and it was another hit. The question is should I binge them all or keep a few aside for when I am having a bad day and need a pick me up? I seriously love the writing, the humour, the slow burn and how any drama is always quickly resolved. I got so immersed in this one that I could kinda feel the sand in my shoes."
An excellent "enemies to lovers"
"A wonderful novel. Hilarious and, on more than one occasion, heartbreaking, but it makes you believe that LOVE can do anything... even make these two be something more than arch enemies! The truth is that it has made me suffer how savagely resentful Ruby was, even when it seemed that there were white flags on the horizon. But I find it perfectly understandable, especially as we discover the unexpected past between these two. But it's wonderfully balanced with an excellent sense of humor and tender moments that will melt your little heart... not to mention the delicious sexual tension. As soon as I started reading, I couldn't stop."

"I love this story. At first, I didn't like Ruby's attitude. She acted so stuck up. Lewis is so sweet and tried to be accommodating to Ruby's wishes of being left alone. Not going to happen because of the itinerary the hotel has set up for them for winning the contest. There were times I just wanted to strangle Ruby for being so insensitive to Lewis's feelings. Always thinking negatively about Lewis. There are so many twists and turns. Had me crying for Lewis broken heart. LOVED the HEA ending❣️❣️"
