"Really liked this story. I’ve read most of the others, and I love the crossovers of characters in each other’s world. I think these two are the youngest of the group and also at outside of Theo and Mika the only pair that I’ve known each other since they were kids so it’s really good to experience the flashbacks as well as a present day and watch each main character work through getting to that point of confession. I loved the family dynamics in here and there’s just so much love and support like when I tell you, this is a good wholesome read to the point where sometimes it was like so good and so gushy this author must be healed. This author must be healed - I feel it . That or the imagination is on 10, which also beautiful beautiful, what can I say?"

"It's got everything! Humour, tears, romance, smut, vengeance, victory, family, LOVE !!! I'd say, the book is the real MVP! And thank you author for perfectly capturing a strong black woman. This book is the perfect representation if interracial love, black excellence, and an outstanding celebration of black culture. The music choices were unreal - hip hop, R&B 🎶 🎵 😍 The scene of both of them rapping on her 27th birthday lives rent-free in my subconscious. Lol!
