A Weak Luna/Mate ... when will she 'see the light?'
"Looking forward to the continuation in Book Two. It took most of this book showing Roxie, the main female character (MFC), being abused. Ravi, her alpha mate, flaunts his mistress in front of her. He mistreated her in MANY ways... adultry, physical abuse, emotional and mental abuse. FINALLY, towards the end, Roxie begins to standup for herself. Looking forward to seeing how all the lies come to light and how comeuppance will be dealt to MANY ... I did almost give up reading because chapter after chapter all I saw was a weak Luna .... one who wasn't even allowed to be acknowledged as the alpha's luna nor his mate. Finally, at the end of the book we begin to see her having taken enough... and Ravi begins flashbacks on the evil he's done to his mate. But will he be 'a day late and a dollar short'? Glad I kept reading. Glad I got to see Roxi take the blinders off and, in her own way, come out fighting. I read all 92 chapters, not the 85 it shows above ... now going to begin Book Two. "
Good plot but too many unrealistic aspect
"-I love how the female lead handles her predicament. Instead of crying and blaming others, she quietly removes herself from her abusive family and acts normal while executing her plan. - There are many flaws in this novel though: 1. The amount of money stated is so overtexaggerated. At best a normal Hermes bag would cost around 4,000 dollars not 2 million. 2. Kai isn't inherently evil. Roxie and everyone make sure that he always gets what he wants. This encourages him to use any mean to achieve his goal. 3. In reality everyone would know that Roxie is Ravi's secret wife. They even live in the same house. Paparazzi would have taken their photos and expose their relationship eventually. 4. The author mentions the Alpha aspect of Ravi too often without explaining how a werewolf is different from normal human. He doesn't even transform or is affected by full moon. It seems like the term 'wolf' in this story is used to describe a cult obsessed with the term Luna and Alpha, the concept of strength, and having amber eyes. Even the word 'mate' in this story is used differently. Werewolf has a predestined mate but the word mate here means spouse. 5. Most characters here are very one dimensional. It would be much better if the author would insert their previous interactions or past events that would explain their current relationship. At this point, Iris and Celine are just evil bitches. Ravi thinks with his dick. Leo gets emotional out of sudden. Kai is programmed to always choose Iris instead of his mother. "
