"I think this is the 7th book IV read of Nina's in only 2 months, also read butcher boys 4 times at least, anyway I loved this story from the start, they were so drawn to each other it never seemed out of order, no blood relation, so let your freak flag fly cause Nina wrote these two perfectly Reid and Andie stood together & I loved every bit of this book, If you start to read it give it a chance it's well worth it this author is so talented and never fails to twist the impossible to the possible, the dark writing style, the taboo subjects are just on a thin line & a deep love wins. Another great book, I'd love a book 2. Thank you for sharing "
Held my attention
"I enjoy POV type stories, where we get to see what each character is thinking and feeling. The story was compelling, and thoughtful, regarding the grief of the main character after losing her mother. The tidal wave of emotions she felt, were explained very well. After losing someone myself, I understood exactly what she was feeling. The writing was very good. It held my attention and it took less than 4 hours for me to read. I read faster than most people lol The only thing that I saw, was that there was a wrong word used in a couple places (you've vs you're), or a word missing altogether (don't and not). However, it wasn't enough to keep me from enjoying it, even as an English Major/Journalism Minor. Would definitely recommend this author. 💯 "

Probably the best stepbrother book I ever read
"This is the second time I feel compelled to write a review. I have read most of Nina's books and I am kicking myself for putting this book off for so long. The reason for that being that I kinda got tired of this specific trope after reading plenty. But these characters and their chemistry knocked it out of the park. And Reid? I have no words. He might just be my favorite so far. [Waiting to see how Cade turns out ;)] There's just something about a man who knows what he wants, and although there are similar characters out there, Reid is something I haven't encountered before. There definitely was a visceral reaction. I will be thinking about him for a while."
Hot and addictive
"I’m basically binging Nina’s stories at this point, and I seriously can’t stop. I’ve really loved every single one I’ve read, and this one was no different. It’s such a fun, addictive read, but there’s also a lot more going on underneath. It’s entertaining, yeah, but it also really gets into what it looks like to keep moving through life while dealing with grief and heartbreak. I loved the main characters. Their chemistry was so good, and they pulled me in right away. And Reid, wow. Easily one of the hottest fictional men I’ve ever read about. He’s intense, a little unhinged, but I was fully obsessed with him. Would 100% recommend this story."
