"I had to force myself to wait until I've completed this book before I write my review. It was hard, but I survived. Firstly, I believe I will read other amazing books by other amazing authors, but I fear I will always compare those books to this masterpiece. I will compare the characters, their flaws, their growth. I will sigh, think about that space in my heart reserved for this book, and I will go on reading. Eonni has ruined me in a beautiful way. Secondly, this book is the definition of perfection. The way the characters developed was a thing of art. How they grew and changed, how they faced the darkest parts of themselves. How they broke and were fixed together. Each character had their piece, they had their flaw, and they had their development by the end of the book. None of them remained the same by the end of the book. That... that is how you make readers fall in love with your characters. The plot of this book hit me right in the face, and I welcomed that slap. I did not see the twist coming. And the shock was so delicious. You should have seen me smiling and giggling while I was reading. I'm sure people around me would have thought someone was love bombing me 😂😭 But anyways, this right here is a work of art. Authors like Eonni are like a role model to me. Now when I'm writing my book, I will ask myself: “What will Eonni do? How will she write this? How will she develop this character?” You're now like a guide to me. Thank you so much for this perfect writing. Honestly, it touched somewhere in me, and I myself am shocked about how long this review has gotten so I will just stop here now ^^ Bye for now and see you in your next book :) "

"This story consumed all of my spare time!! The descriptions are done so well that it genuinely felt like I was right there with the characters, just waiting to see what they’d do next. Sometimes I wanted to close my eyes lol, Niko can be dark!! But, I loved the dual perspectives: you are able to see how the trauma, the tension and the hope unfolds. You'll even find yourself chuckling, because both Nikolai & Ksenia have such good banter with the people around them. I am new to this author and I'm already planning to read more of her work!! She has really drawn me in by creating a story with such a beautiful reminder of love and how even the smallest light can swallow the darkness."

"Let's get down to business shall we, now without giving much away because as I say I do not like to kiss and tell. Five stars absolutely all, you must be mad not to give this book with the pull, the twists the wanting more not to. The suspense was high, the stakes were high, the always guessing and me well failing a lot was great because it kelpt leading me wanting to know more! This book is a game changer completely to what I have read, my all time favourite character who shock me with his dark humour is none other than the man Nikolai himself. What makes this book a true art of a master piece material is the complexity with the characters. With the story and the book you do not just read about them like a story no you experience their emotions to the full power leaving you with commenting because you are along for the ride but with where these characters are going and what is happening along the way. 💜 The ending let's take a moment without giving anything away I was left in shock with what was coming their way, for me completely unexpected. 💜 If you want complex,If you want dark romance that is not cliche where the power dynamic is changed, if you want a deep layered emotional story that has visualisation elements to it then this my darling readers is the book for you. 💜 I shall be reading more of this Authors work 💜 "
