Zusammenfassung
Familie sollte heilig sein. Unantastbar. Azriel sollte lediglich mein Stiefbruder sein. Stattdessen wurde er mein Untergang. Ich hätte auf Abstand bleiben sollen. Doch wann immer er in meiner Nähe ist, erinnert sich mein Körper an das, was er mir angetan hat. Sein Wolf lauert unter der Oberfläche und zieht mich näher zu sich, als ich es je gewagt hätte. Er gehört mir – nicht durch Namen oder Anspruch, sondern durch die Art, wie mein Blut ein Feuer in ihm entfacht. Jede Berührung, jedes gedämpfte Knurren lässt mich zittern, mich sehnen – und zurückschrecken. Ich weiß, dass das nicht sicher ist. Die Hitze zwischen uns könnte uns beide verbrennen, und doch kann ich nicht aufhören, mich ihr hinzugeben. Manche Regeln sind nicht dazu da, gebrochen zu werden. Manche Verbindungen hätten niemals entstehen dürfen. Und manche Verlangen … können nicht geleugnet werden.
