Great book!

"This story will pull you in right away. I instantly felt connected to Sloan, the main character. Her journey is one many can unfortunately relate to. The author doesn’t sugarcoat the harsh realities of cancer and lets the reader inside the ugliness and fear and resilience of coping with such a horrible illness. She also does a great job of describing the limbo and unknown and doesn’t pretend there are any easy answers. I loved this story from the very first page to the last."

Fighting for Normal

"I am glad that Sloane finally realized people could handle it and that they loved her. I am also glad she finally let Chandler be with her. I usually do not read young people stories but Sloane having cancer drew me in. Would like to have a follow up to know how Texas was, did the medicine work, did she have the surgery and can she play volleyball again. "

Unbelievable

"You put my life to the page. I hope you did not like eye it. I was not as young but it was the same. I was blessed I came out the other side. It is a fantastic novel!"
