A gripping first volume of the series
"The story plunges straight into darkness without any detours. The magic system and the characters are unusual and definitely morally ambiguous. That makes the story very intense, but also not always predictable. The trigger warning is appropriate and should definitely be taken seriously. I’ll definitely read book two as well, because the ending of the first one gave me a certain sense of satisfaction. Thank you for your work and for sharing your books — and your kind spirit — with us!"

" I love a good old cliffhanger, I must say, and that my darling readers is all I will say without kissing and telling. I was in from the first chapter and the plot very compelling indeed. I found this a unique supernatural book which is brilliant we don't want the same now do we! This story is fresh and I see I am late to the party here wow so happy I got to read. You can tell the author of this book put a lot of work and development into the creation of this works and the characters. I am looking forward to book 2 and will be reading. I recommend this book especially if you are into supernatural books that are compelling and brings you in with a unique take. 💜 "

The author sees the world in a unique way—her story is fresh, new, and doesn’t leave you with that nagging feeling that you’ve read it before... somewhere. Good job! I bet the edited version will be even better. Yes, I was a little taken aback in a few places, but sometimes we need to remember that the world isn’t all sparkles and unicorn fairy-dust poop."

"I’m definitely a fan of this series now! I can’t believe how much I enjoyed this book, the compelling plot, the suspense, the thrills, and the spice! I’ll admit I was skeptical at first about the two MCs and their hate to love dynamic, wondering if it would really work, but I found myself rooting for them all the way through. I also loved the fresh approach the author took with the supernatural elements, it felt unique and not at all cliché. Very good read. Now off to book 2! "

"More plot twists than a pretzel factory and well fleshed out characters combine into one enjoyable read! More than once I’ve watched the clock tick past midnight while engrossed in this story. Not recommended for younger readers due to violence and spicy scenes it’s best for mature readers. Enjoyed the love/ hate relationship between the two characters it certainly keeps things interesting. On to part two!"
