Feedback...

I was not aware clicking the rating would post an empty review... I had intended to do that on finishing, but I'm far in so will give my feelings:

Very readable and well crafted, with a Neil Gaiman-esque quality to the voice (Reminds me a bit of "The Graveyard Book") so good for target audience. The scenes with the villains are very menacing and mysterious.

However, I do worry that the Graves character treads too fine a line between fanfic and original fic - the similarities to "Doctor Who" are very striking, especially with the show itself being name-dropped quite frequently.

Still, the story drives along nicely, and is in most respects original and imaginative, so I would definitely encourage further development.

Intense, strong twist

Surprised on reading that this turned out to be such a fantasy-heavy premise. Many intriguing hints given as to what sort of world the characters inhabit, which will hopefully be revealed later, as this chapter goes very much right into the action. While I normally prefer a build (though erotic romance is not my genre, so this very personal) it certainly pulls the reader along, and one can feel the main character's compulsion and anxiety. The final twist, though in a more standard erotica setting might class as predictable, is rendered extremely tense here by the unusual circumstances, leaving the main character very much on a cliff-hanger. One would definitely want to to find out more and not leave them in that predicament...
