Her Alpha

I'm finally leaving and getting away from these insane people. They believe that men should choose their wife, weather the female wants to or not. When female's turn 18 they can be chosen. Tomorrow is my eighteenth birthday and I'm not sticking around to see which asshole wants me as his wife.

My name is Amanda, my wolfs name is lily. In case you couldn't guess I'm a werewolf. I'm five nine with long blond hair, and an attitude that could put me in a cell. Which it has, one time the alpha's bimbo of the week tried to say I shoved her and let just say there were tears and a little hair missing by the time the alpha got there.

Tonight, I'm running, I don't care if I end up a rouge as long as I don't end up a slave to a sexist pig. I'll have to be careful though because there are guards' station along the border, not that it would be a bad thing if one of them ended up missing.

I pack my bag and get ready, by that I mean grave the few items I have that can all fit in a backpack. I put on the darkest clothing I have then gab my knife's. I put two in my boots, one in each, one in the hidden pocket of my pants, one in my bra, and the last one in my hair. The one in my hair looks like it's a hair pin so it would never be suspected.

I grab my backpack and jump out the third story window. After softly landing on the ground, I take of running to the border. I'm a little slower than I would be in wolf form, but I have to wait till I cross the border because in wolf form our sent is stronger. I hear some guards as I get closer, "Did you hear that there's another female turning eighteen tomorrow?" one guard asks the other "No, but it's about time we get some fresh meat. I wonder what she'll taste like!" the other responds silently. It takes everything in me not to go snap his neck, but I can't get caught. If I so than the consequence is even worse than what I'm running from.

I see a whole in the guards and make my way over. Just as I'm about to the border a stick snap from under me. I look to see if they heard and four guards are headed this way, luckily, I know they won't case me long, they can't leave there's post long without getting in trouble. So, I shift and pick up my bag with my mouth and take of running. After three hours of running, I'm exhausted. So, I find a spot that should keep me shielded from view and laydown to sleep.

I wake up to hearing whining and growling in the distance. It's sound like a pup whining. I head towards the sounds quietly and see two rogues circling a young pup. Just as one of them lunge toward the pup I launch a knife right at its heart. Before the other gets a chance to move I throw a knife at it too. Now there are two dead rogues with knives in their hearts and a crying pup. I slowly walk towards the pup with my hands up showing I mean no harm. When I get within five feet I stop and sit down. " Hey little guy, I'm not going to hurt you I promise. Do you have a family?" He shakes its head. " Can you shift back?" He slowly gets up and walk over to me. He rubs his nuzzle on my arm, then shifts. I give him some clothes so he's not naked, then ask him what his name is and how old he is. " My name is Jacob, I'm five years old. My mom and dad died when our pack was attacked. Daddy always told me if we were ever attacked, I should run to the woods and hide till they come get me. After three days of hiding, I went back to find everyone gone." He says crying. I open up my arm, and he come's barreling into me.

After he calms down, we go to a river to get some fish for breakfast. After eating we shift and start running, I go a little slower so he can keep up. After an hour I feel the air shift a little but ignore it thinking it's the wind. I notice Jacob panting a lot and decide to stop and a creek to get some water. We lay down to rest a minute when I hear a twig snap. I get up and get in a fighting stance over Jacob. A man and three wolves come out surrounding us. I let out a growl to tell them to back off. Then man in front of me say "Stand down rouge you are in our territory, shift back or we will have to use force." I lay down and look at my bag, trying to show I will corporate I just don't want to be naked in front of a bunch of men. " Shift back" he growls. I shift not wanting to get me or Jacob hurt. "Serially, I couldn't go behind a tree and put clothes on." I ask.

His cheeks turn a little pink at my comment "Sorry didn't realize you were a girl. Is that your son?" before I get a chance to answer Jacob say " She's my second mommy, she saved me from rogues earlier." I'm a little shocked but also happy because I'm already attached to him. I hear a wolf snort behind me and turn to look at him. "Something funny?" I ask. "Yeah, there's no way you could take down a rouge. You're to-" Before he can finish, I throw a knife right beside his head, cutting some of his hair. He goes quit. "I'm to what" I ask with a smirk. He doesn't answer.

I turn to the man, "now what?" I ask, while picking up Jacob because he's shacking. "The alpha will be here in a minute to decide what to do" he says smiling. He's seeming nice. The wolf I threw a knife at shift and lunges at me. I quickly put Jacob down to the side and prepare for the blow, as I'm tackled to the ground, I hear loud footsteps right before an anergy growl, right before everything goes black.

This one of my first book, so please tell me what you think. I'm open to suggestion on the story line. Also, none of the pictures are mine. NO copy writing.
