About Maivy
I found my way into writing through Dungeons & Dragons, where chaos follows the roll of a die and stories are shaped by risk and consequence. It turns out there is something dangerously addictive about guiding fictional souls toward questionable decisions, so I kept going even after the dice fell silent.
Now I write fantasy, because reality hardly needs my help to be unforgiving. Expect magic that comes with a cost, survival that is never guaranteed, and characters who make choices that echo longer than they expect. Regret tends to linger, as it should.
By day, I work in finance. Numbers, structure, order. By night, I unravel all of that and build worlds where logic bends, loyalties fracture, and control is an illusion at best.
Every story is written one chapter at a time, often at hours that suggest questionable life choices.
If you are looking for comfort, you may find glimpses of it. If you are looking for something that lingers a little longer, you are exactly where you need to be.
