Unbroken Bonds

It had been six months since Gabriella accepted my proposal. She was still a monster, always ready for battle. We were in the middle of wedding preparations. I was in the kitchen making coffee when she came into the kitchen.

Me: Morning.

Gabby: Morning!

Me: Why are you so happy?

She runs up to me and kisses me.

Gabby: We're getting married soon.

Me: You need to take it easy with my daughter in your stomach.

Gabby: I can't wait until she starts sassing you.

Me: I'll know exactly who she got it from.

Gabby: Shut up! What's next?

She must have lost her mind to really think I would let her do anything this far along.

Me: Hyun and I are going to make a deal. You are staying home.

Gabby: You're kidding?

I just look at her as I stand up and kiss her forehead before heading to the room. She runs in behind me and grabs my arm making me look at her.

Gabby: I want to go!

Me: I said no!

I turn back and she grabs my arm again.

Gabby: I'm going! End of discussion!

Me: You're not. End of discussion.

She was really going to be a baby about this? I grab her hair and place a kiss on her neck. I then kiss her and she smiles.

Me: Are you ready?

Gabby: Yes!

Me: Good, no sex today or tomorrow.

Gabby: What?!

I pull my shirt on and finish getting dressed. I grab my keys and head out the door. She moves as fast as she could to catch up to me.

Gabby: Wait! Baby let's talk about this!

Me: Talk about what?

Gabby: You know.

Me: Oh, the fact you cockedblocked yourself? Yeah, that non-negotiable. Two days no sex.

Gabby: You can't do that to me!

I reach out and touch her face.

Me: You're right, I couldn't.

I grab her hand and pull her over to the couch. I start kissing her and rubbing her stomach.

Me: Close your eyes. I got something for you.

She closes her eyes. I quietly stand up and grab my keys.

Me: It's in the room. Stay right here.

I make my way to the back door and slip out the back and hop in my car and drive off to meet up with Hyun. When I arrive, he comes outside.

Hyun: Why is she blowing up my phone?

Me: She'll be fine.

Hyun: She's going to kill you.

Suddenly my phone starts ringing. It was Luca. What could he be calling about? I answer.

Me: Yeah.

Luca: Do something about Gabriella! Now she's got mi--.

Ryder: Jin?!

Me: Yeah.

Ryder: Did you seriously cut her off?

Me: It's two days.

Ryder: She's also pregnant! Pregnant bitches can't go without sex! I'm rid--.

Me: Please! I can live without the details!

Ryder: Fix it or boys' night is cancelled!

Me: You're not m--.

She had already hung up the phone. I look to Hyun.

Hyun: I can take someone else. It's not a crazy run. Besides, y'all don't go out, I don't get to see Kylie. Fix it bro.

I dial Gabby's number. This wasn't good.

Me: She blocked my number.

Hyun: Your six-month pregnant fiancé blocked your number? Bro, get your ass home!

I hop in the car and drive like a maniac to get back to her.
