I enjoyed the atmosphere and the mystery the author brought to life in the story. I like the idea of a modern setting with a fictional nation and city, locale. Gives it a fantasy vibe, even though it’s not a fantasy story. The author got me caring about the MC and what happens next. Which is a good thing when it comes to storytelling. The setting, the characters, and everything was great, especially the ending of the chapter.
