Surprisingly sweet: a smutty story that stays sweet in a morally grey fairytale universe.
" I opened this story expecting goblin breeding facilities and dark sexual servitude. I was very surprised to end up reading a story of Sasi, a naive nymph who manages to maintain her innocent, naive, sweetness while coming of age in a world where sexual desire is weaponised. This book is 50 % smut / 50 % drama and the plot does not come secondary. While this story does deal with some dark topics around coercion and sexual manipulation, it does so in a way that maintains a sense of light rather than becoming overwhelmed by it. 🎥 Single perspective: female lead 🤬 very minor low level bad language 🔪 very minor (bar fight) 💋 explicit sex scenes 🔚 Surprising twist, happy ending. "
Great book in the series!
"Loved the book ending, unexpected twists and a great feel good when it all seemed hopeless. This is certainly not an upbeat story as the emotions and twists feel like personal attacks at time. It is worth pushing through! Dear reader though, please follow Riada’s suggested reading order for the series as she weaves characters throughout other stories and you may spoil the ending or experience of another book if you read this story first. "

"This one is my favorite book throughout the series so far! I loved the characters, loved the tension and buildup, loved the plot! I really liked that there was a moment where I thought that Eldrin would fall in love with Sasi, and then it turned out to be very different. I loved how Sasi was her own person, and ended up loving who she is. The element of drug use and assault/prostitution together with the psychological manipulation, also made it very suspensful and kept me on my toes as a reader. And also (as mentioned before) absolutely loved knowing more about Nymph history and it's secrets. I would recommend this book to anyone who is into romance/drama and who likes a little bit of suspense in a story. I have no feedback or tips, this one was really 10/10!❤️ "
