But as the story unfolded, she turned out to be the strong, independent woman. While we hated Armand at the start, he worked his way towards salvation, too. All in all, a very compelling read. "becoming one of my favourite writers on the app. This was so good it had me literally laughing out loud, wanting to kill Armand myself and happy AF when Celine bossed up and owned his ass in the beginning! I read this book with the quickness of molasses because it was so enjoyable!!!! This book took me to places that don't exist but I felt like I was somewhere between Paris, the English countryside and a lil bit of Westeros. Thank you author for this wonderful distraction."
