The ranch and cattle drive was an interesting setting with good suspense thrown in without it being overkill. I would definitely read a follow up story about these characters if you wrote one."

A Pleasant Surprise in Familiar Territory
"I went in expecting pure escapism and got something slightly better: a story that respects its characters enough to let them act like adults. Sabrina isn't naive, Garrett isn't a caricature of wealth, and their conflicts stem from real differences in values, not manufactured drama. What stood out to me was the pacing of their connection. The attraction is immediate, but the emotional intimacy builds gradually — during the roundup, through shared responsibility, through watching each other handle stress and kids and bad weather. The scene where she out-rides him isn't just a gotcha moment; it's earned by her backstory. The author also handles trauma delicately. Sabrina's past marriage isn't exploited for shock value — it explains her caution without defining her. And Garrett's protectiveness never crosses into possessiveness. The setting is used well: the mountains, the horses, the isolation during the storm — all of it deepens the sense that these two are discovering each other in a space outside normal life. A satisfying, warm read for anyone who likes competence and quiet strength in romance."

"Bonne histoire mais pour une histoire aussi courte, c'est dommage qu'il y a quelques problèmes. Comme par exemple l'ex femme de Garret a changé de nom 3 fois au cours de l'histoire et le mec de Daphné a le même prénom que l'ex de Sabrina."
