Finding Herself: A Sweet, Spicy Detour
"As parents, it's easy to lose ourselves in raising our children. Alyssa stumbles across something for the lost and found bin at work that picques her curiosity and, along with great friends and a precious man by her side and enters a phase of self-discovery. What ensues is sweet but hilarious! Alyssa tiptoes, but her husband John is enthusiastic in his pursuit and soon they are running into a deeper connection than they have ever shared before. This is a slight detour from Poppy's usual style as it features a bit more spice. It is absolutely true to her style in that her the friendship and love she writes are beautifully poignant while being hilarious! Her men are deliciously written for the female gaze. "
