"I loved this book. I love the fact that both of the lead character’s perspectives were described regarding the same event. I felt this really gave us a good insight into their character. I also loved that it was a slow burn romance. I felt that you really got to know the main characters as well as some of the supporting characters. This novel has a lot of chapters, but I was hooked and didn’t feel like it rushed or dragged. What I really liked about the book was that the Lessons learned are so applicable to today’s society. There really wasn’t anything I didn’t like about the book. I would recommend this book to anybody who enjoys good writing, excellent plot development and a heartwarming story with lessons that apply to society in general and relationships in particular. I gave the story all fives in all categories because I felt it was well written, applicable outside of the story constructs and emotionally satisfying. I am definitely going to read another novel by this author."

Story doesn't just abruptly end with a HEA, more insight into the consequences of their actions is given. I laughed, I cried, I was completely emotionally invested. "This is unlike any book I've ever read. There's just such a unique twist that it just keeps me turning each page. For those coming after me, you may feel weird reading about hair colors being chosen or flowers woven into fur, keep reading. There's so much more going on underneath the surface. My only criticism is the overuse of the word mechanism. Sometimes it just doesn't land properly or not at all. I still understand what's being said and it's not enough of a drawback to make me put the book down. I like that just about every nook and cranny was explored. What happens to territories after the fallout, etc. I especially loved the character growth of the MFC. I love the respect and restraint of the MMC. Overall a great unexpected story that I will gladly read again. "
